We have a LOT of Fried chicken spots, like this is a hidden gem, located inside of a ShopRite in a strip mall. The same strip mall also has a raising canes. But this place is doing things differently, they are frying all their chicken in 100% beef tallow, so it's seed free! Yes definitely a little heavier, but the flavors are on point. Even the Nashville hot chicken sandwich was perfection. I believe it was a generous thigh chicken or the chicken was cooked so perfectly. Ps do get the Hot Queso which is a game changer. Abe the owner of this spot is a genuinely passionate person, cooking delicious food! There are a few tables you can enjoy the piping hot chicken at!

The chicken is absolutely fantastic, quite possibly the best we've had. Homemade ketchup and ranch, totally on another level of quality and commitment to delivering a superior product. Located within the food court at the ShopRite in SW Philly (Penrose Plaza). This place is a best kept secret, but not for long I suspect. I see this place blowing up in popularity. It's absolutely wonderful. The chicken is juicy and the breading is so crisp and delicious. The tallow fries are equally as decadent and go so well with the aforementioned homemade ranch and ketchup! We will be back sooner than later for sure.

It's inside of ShopRite at the front of the store. The customer service was great and the food too! Prices match the amount of food and quality!

Food was delicious. Made a last minute detour and needed a quick bite. I got the wings, no fries. They were hot and fresh. Crispy skin, no breading. The restaurant is inside the ShopRite near the hot food section. The signage for Tallow could be better. I had to ask if I was at the right place. The woman who took my order was polite and welcoming. You order at the counter, pay at the wine/beer section (use your ShopRite PricePlus card for points) then take the receipt back to pickup after payment.

It would be easy to miss this place or assume it's just a fake corporate olde town shoppe since it's actually inside the ShopRite. But the wings were probably the best I've ever had anywhere, smokey tender and juicy, and the portion of fries was big and delicious.
