First time catching a sold out show here last night. Holy hell, what an absolute shit show trying to access this place. Folks must take the day off and get here EARLY, because we arrive to the immediate area an hour before the opening act and it took longer than that to find a place to park and we even got super lucky to find a space near an entrance. Otherwise, we probably would have missed most of the headliner too. The venue itself is pretty cool. The sound was very good and the folks working inside were friendly enough. Security wasn't very strict in any manner and you could walk around the space without anyone stopping you. The sounds is best towards the center of the venue. Cool small lawn space up top where the merch will be, but the sound quickly diminished as you walked up to the area. Bathrooms were a bit confusing. Marked in one area, but not on the opposite end. Didn't try and get food or drinks. Lines were long. I don't think I will ever attempt to see a show here. Just no chance of successfully gaining entrance early, and if I do, I'll spend an hour or more trying to get myself out of this maze.

Every show at the Dale is marvelous. You will have a wonderful time anywhere you sit you can see and the people are fun every time I go I had a blast and I've been going there since 2000.

The Dell Music Center seems to be one of those special places in Philadelphia. It was a VERY unique outdoor concert experience. Was invited to see Fantasia at The Dell Music Center. Pulling up to the venue was a task in itself. Parking is free, BUT in this instance, it was chaotic. People were parking anywhere in the park, and it was SUPER packed. From what I noticed, there are the actual concert goers that paid for their tickets, and then there are people who set up on the grass to listen to the concert in the park for free. While you walk to the venue, many people are trying to sell you things. Finally, after parking (at not the best spot) and bypassing the street sellers, there was a long line to get in. Yikes! Once inside,The Dell Music Center appeared to be clean. We had decent seats and could see the fantastic singer Fantasia! Unfortunately, we weren't able to grab water or a bite to eat because the two different places for those items had extremely long lines all night. We also had to leave earlier to avoid the parking confusion. This concert venue is a very interesting place.

We didn't even get to see the concert we paid for because there was absolutely no parking. The tickets advertised free parking, there was no such thing. Just a ton of cars parked chaotically in a park and tailgaters taking up a ton of spaces that weren't even there to see the show. Even if we got there hours before doors opened I doubt there would have been any open spots. No organization, no one directing traffic. Felt super sketchy and unsafe. I'll never buy tickets at this music venue ever again.

Great outdoor arena. No bad seating in the place as you can see the stage from anywhere. Sound quality is always on point. Recently went to the WDAS Summer concert series with Ne Yo and it was amazing. Good vibes and a full house. Safety not a concern as there is security at the entrance that checks bags and makes you go through a metal detector. Food options typical fried options like fries, chicken fingers etc. There is a Rita's for water ice and pretzel options. Additionally, there are drink options such as Seagrams cocktails and Sutter Home wine along with beer. Check out their website for upcoming shows. A nice outing for date night or even for a girls or guys nigh out. True that security is poorly placed in aisles blocking some views hence the subtracted star.

Best place to be on a Thursday, Saturday or Sunday on a cool summer night. The crowd is amazing, all go to all the R&B, Party in the Park, Lady B Basement Party, the real party people come out (ole heads) we know how to act, we like to Party and have a good time. I give the DELL 10. Only problem I had this year was my neice car & the whole row of cars were broken into where they were parked (some sorry behind thief was totally in violation, I usually support the vendors and buy Tee shirt outside, but the vendors outside on the last night were very rude, ( they really are of poor quality) so from now on I support the vendors inside, it's a little costly, but it's well deserved, the people who work there are very nice & pleasant, I will continue to support the DELL until I'm to old to go there. Please get more security for people cars.

every seat is a great seat so don't get too caught up on prices bathrooms were smelly extremely long lines for concessions concession staff was DISGUSTING. no gloves no hair nets no masks, constantly grabbing cups/containers with their thumbs on the inside of the cups/containers, they had plastic forks in a communal cup for grabbing- very cheap situations obviously run by inexperienced money grubs security was ok but cops everywhere was a bit intimidating and not necessary

I am a Philly native born and raised - I have attended many concerts over the years at the Dell Music Center. I am glad to see the evolution of the Dell in recent years. The thing with outside venues - there is always the weather to consider - be it rain or the heat being on HELL!! The most recent night I visited - was perfect - it was cool with a nice breeze as the sun set. The seating is good and the food area has improved - although the prices are have increased greatly - but just add it to your budget and suck it out - you are having a night out - enjoy yourself!! In the recent years, the venue staff have improved the customer service and they are helpful. I feel the different costs of seating is fair. Most of the acts that come through the Dell are worthy of the costs. Tip: Arrive early for parking - it sucks!! But again - don't be a grouch about it - it is apart of the experience - stay happy and have fun!!

I went to the Dell East to see Neyo yesterday. The concert was good but the way that they manage the people could have been better. The staff had no regards for the concert goers. My seat was section F Row A seats 3 and 4 paid $99 with taxes and fees and can I tell you that I saw 70% of the concert due to the staff standing in front of me/us then we went to the bathroom just to come back and the staff is in our seats it's was so HOT before that they made me walk back 2 miles to put my bag in the car after standing in line for an hour, there was nothing in the bag so okay I play by the rules but then get inside there was women with backpacks and huge bags ‍You go to the bathroom and have to show your tickets 10 times with concession food and drinks in your hand spilling all over you. They really need to get a better system
