I come here from time to time to pick up coffee for the most part. This place is so small and very crowded. The staff is not bad. The whole issue is that they just need to expand this Wawa the parking lot can get really crazy.

Welp,Today I deleted the wawa app from my phone. The last visit I would ever make to wawa/this Germantown location because of its unintelligent demographic of employees they choose to hired here. I went in used my rewards up and brought extra items. All methods of pay have been used before and caused no problem before. For whatever reason,their system did not want to register my payment methods properly so it took some time for me to get in & out the line. A ignorant unintelligent black employee decided while helping someone at the Self serve register to announce very loudly about my choice of payment method & that's why I was holding the line up. Me & the other customer were in 2 different lines meaning I had nothing to do with holding him up. Why was he so loud & felt the need to announce that,Idk. Maybe he's one of those mentally ill employees that needs supervision. Also most likey has alot of self hatred for himself. Shoutout to the manager,she'd handled the situation with maturity while being calm which made me calm & patient. Outside of that, the demographic they choose to hire all have bad attitudes. No matter how many times they like to rotate employees, it's either a hit or a miss with how sandwiches & other food are getting made. Drinks are also a hit or miss,with either being done right or watered down because staff member is tired. With all these bad reviews I really wish less ppl would frequent this store and company. That's why the store still exist,just stop giving them your money and let them die out. It's only a matter of time . As for me,I am done giving them my money. Too many unintelligent ppl making my food. I don't have enough energy to deal w/the bs while at the store. Then wait til I get to my location to open up my food to see if it was done correctly. Wawa leaving plenty of opportunity for other businesses to swoop in & take over. Mark my words.

I sometimes marvel at this Wawa's ability to persevere. Through remodeling, crime, road closures, this classic keeps cranking out coffee, hoagies, and iced tea.

During night shift, The employees move soooo slow like there is nothing else in the world they have to do. I can't believe how slow the service is every time I come to this location at night. It's typically way too many people working the same shift for service to be so slow. Someone please re-train these people. Also at night they won't let you go in. So you have to wait at the window. They see us standing waiting and they still drag their feet like we're not there. The worst.

Yelp wants to know if I recommend this business, and so do you. My answer: it depends. On: - time of day - what you want - how you want to order it - how you get there I'll start with the worst case scenario. You order a weekday lunch on the app and plan to drive there to pick it up. 4 reasons why this is the worst: 1) App is terrible. Every time you want to order you have to go through the process of selecting the store even if you only ever go to one. I added a few favorites and now that option appears missing, no way to add/edit favorites. You'll choose what time you want to pick it up but rarely if ever will your order be on time. 2) A late order may actually be good because the second issue is there is little to no parking on weekday afternoons so you'll need extra time to park. The parking lot is small, there's a few extra spaces behind the store. It's a total traffic jam with cars blocked and idling all over trying to get leave or park. Part of the issue is Allen's Lane. The traffic backs up for more than a block and it's almost impossible to get onto that street. Better luck driving out to the Germantown Avenue exit. Lack of parking may also be due to all the people that take food to their cars and sit there and eat. Yea, many people treat their car in the parking lot as a dining area. I also see cars with no visible handicap signs in the handicap spaces. 3) The inside is just as packed with people as the parking lot. It's a SMALL Wawa. Very small. Unusually small. There's certainly no gas pumps here. It's like a mini-mart really. The shelf to pick up your order is at the intersection of the checkout line, customers shopping, and deli workers coming and going. 4) That late order may be even worse than you think. I've stood waiting for my order for 30min, only to see my order was sitting unlabeled by a register. Someone missed it and never placed it on the shelf. And this has now happened TWICE. If the food is getting cold it's going to be even colder after the length of time you wait to get your car out of the lot. The small size also means they don't have as much variety of things. Sometimes the deli computer says they have it but then you're told they actually don't. Also don't forget to give money to the revolving door of homeless people that have somehow made it out to Chestnut Hill. I assume it wasn't a homeless person that jumped over the register to attack workers though. So DO try and get parking. DO try and get your order on time. And don't get stabbed. Last I checked, this Wawa, supposedly 24/7 was closed at 11pm every night. Not sure why. And not sure when that will end. But, be warned the doors may be locked if you're hungering for a midnight meal.

Out of all the years I have been going to Wawa, Aaron is hands down the friendliest cashier I have ever met. He needs a raise ASAP. Aaron always has a great sense of humor, he's quick, and truly cares about the customers. Always leaving with a smile on my face because of Aaron!

Sandwiches and staff making them were very good, which is the only reason this location is getting two stars. I went on a weekend around 2:30pm for a late lunch. Not sure who does the staffing, but while there were two cashiers, and 2-3 people working the sandwich counter, there ended up being literally a 10-15 customer backup for food. The staff were busting their butts to hurry, but they were overwhelmed. I probably waited about 15 minutes for a sandwich and they apologized, but I know it wasn't their fault. Someone needs to help these employees out.

This Wawa closes from 11:00pm to 3am everyday. Someone hand wrote the sign in the window. Wtf?!?. It's bad enough the service is lowsy now this. Smh

This place is literally repulsive. I cannot name one time they have gotten my order correct in the last six months, the girls behind the counter are completely ignorant and refuse to fix orders they make incorrectly. Skip this dump and take an extra ten minutes drive to roxborough, seriously. This place clearly hires anybody.

This WaWa sucks! That is the best word to describe it. I'm not sure if there is a new manager that just doesn't know how to manage staff and make sure that appropriate amounts of stock are ordered but lately it just sucks. WaWa is basically a philly institution so it's the go to place for a quick lunch or snacks. This WaWa is always out of stuff. A couple of days ago they ran out of bread and an employee was walking around telling other employees NOT TO TELL THE MANAGER THAT THEY WERE OUT OF BREAD! Isn't that something u share with the manager so that the manager can see where the break down happened and why stock was low?? Maybe they can make a deal with another WaWa to temporarily fill their stock of bread so that a riot doesn't ensue when someone can't get their hoagie!? Today my husband went in there to get some lunch and they were out of pickles and tomatoes. They didn't even have the basics of a good hoagie! When I opened my paper wrapping it was soaked in mayo and mustard, couldn't even taste the other toppings. This WaWa is always dirty, the staff isn't particularly nice, it's exhausting getting asked for money and change as u come and go, and it's just not a good WaWa. So I'll be going over to the Flourtown or Willow Grove WaWa from now on. They are just better anyway.
