Tried this hot pot spot for the first time , it had authentic Chongqing style flavor, but honestly it was a bit pricey for the portions you get, and spicier than I can comfortably handle. If you're curious though, you can always try it for yourself. While the service was good, I think they do need to up their game if they want to stay competitive in the area.

The food here is good but limited options. It's also a hassle to order through their website on the phone. There are just three broth options. The service was okay, wished they check up on us more and refill our water. The space is small, and bathroom is upstairs.

I was looking to try someplace I hadn't been before in Chinatown. I wish I'd gone with someone who knew the restaurant and how it runs. I'm sure my ignorance meant I missed out on some of the experience. I stuck with the familiar when ordering: crispy fried pork (listed as a must-try item), chicken, winter melon, enoki mushroom, bok choy, rice. We got a pot with mild broth on one side & spicy on the other. It was VERY hot temperature-wise. The spicy side was very spicy. The mild broth was very mild. As we left, we saw that there was a table of condiments: herbs, salt, sauces. We couldn't see it from our table, and no one pointed it out. That might have really improved my experience if I'd known. We received cabbage instead of bok choy, and I never got the rice I ordered. But cabbage costs more than bok choy, so I didn't try to correct the bill over what amounted to a 50-cent difference.

We were new to the hot pot scene and this place was phenomenal. Clearly authentic and our waiter could not have been more helpful with choosing things from the menu. They gave us some small complementary bites to try and really made the whole experience enjoyable. 10/10 would recommend!

To start off--the service was amazing! the staff were so nice, friendly, and helpful. The ambiance was so cozy, the lights were kind of dim, but not too dark. The food was SO GOOD. The flavors were impeccable, and the spice levels were amazing. Being honest we definitely overestimated how much spice we could handle lol. We got a level three thinking we could handle it (All of us have high spice tolerances) but we ended up getting humbled very quickly. 10/10, would go again, but with a lower spice level.
