I got a salad from here and I just wasn't impressed at all. However, my cousins do you enjoy the Caribbean food from here but for me the salads have much more to be desired.

My experience with this place was very unpleasant and I am highly upset that I received this food that I was happy to get and look real good on the internet the food tasted unseasoned like it was made with no seasoning at all I will never come back to this place and I wish everyone else have a better experience

This is Lagos Islands second location. This spot does not have pizza like the other location in Upper Darby. The building used to have a small sandwich shop called Jimmy's, but I believe there was a fire a couple of years ago that closed it permanently. Parking is out front along Chester Pike and can be a challenge. It's a bit tight, I would suggest possibly parking on a side street if you can. The inside looks like there needs to be a bit of organization done. It's a bit cluttered, there are several tables along the outer wall, but I remember Jimmy's having a diner like counter bar before. The girl at the front counter was extremely nice and a great conversation. She talked at length about the menu which seems to have a bit of a spicy/jerk twist to some of your typical sandwich shop standards as well as chicken. They also have seafood (Salmon, shrimp, mussels, fried fish) dishes, bbq ribs (beef and pork) and rice platters. She had me hooked when she mentioned a Salmon Cheesesteak which could have shrimp added. It's served with peppers, onions and Monterey jack cheese on a Liscio's roll. My sandwich was made to order and came out pretty fast. The guy working the grill did a great job. The sandwich held together well and was not sloppy at all. The salmon is finely chopped up/minced and had wonderful flavors. The shrimp were fresh and sat on top of the sandwich. I really enjoyed the flavor profile, it had a cajun black pepper bite and the cheese melted well inside the bun and with the meat to help give it a creamy flavor. I've never had a sandwich like this before and would definitely repeat. I hope these guys find a way to add pizza to this location, but they are doing ok with the menu as it exists now. I'll be returning to try some of their other menu offerings.

The food is amazing , let's start there. The service was very poor. Exponentially poor if I have to be honest for the sake of an honest review. I wasn't greeted with any kind of welcome and after I spent $30 on my meal the dark skinned girl at the counter just sat my food on the counter and walked away. I hope someone from the management team sees this and gives their staff a lesson in customer service. Tone S.

A lot of new flavors! Salmon cheese steak is da bomb. The fish sandwiches and platters are on point. I haven't tried the loaded fries but I suspect it's a delicious meal.

Have you ever had the rice from Nigeria? Oh my God this place is so fantastic, and I absolutely love their specialty rice with chicken or with with shrimp or with both. I don't care if you are near Sharon Hill or not, you need to go out of your way to go to this place and have some great Nigerian food. Yes, they do offer some basic American things like chicken wings, but I definitely recommend trying there specialty. We found this place by mistake, and we have been back so many times! They have a great little seating area, they have some freshly made desserts, and some freshly made juice every day. You can also bake your order to go. The staff is wonderful, I do not know if they are all family, but this is definitely a family owned place and the food is just absolutely fantastic.

Very inconsistent with the dishes. One day the food is great, the next the pasta is overcooked and mushy and lacks any flavor. I was very pleased with my experience the first time i tried their shrimp alfredo. It was flavorful and well made. The second time i got it however, I couldn't eat it. You could taste that the pasta water hadn't been salted in both me and my friend's meal. It didn't taste like the dishes were seasoned at all. The pasta was way too soft (overcooked). I went in to ask for a refund or something because the alfredo actually tasted ridiculous. The woman at the register said she'd let her boss know and issue a refund to the card the food was purchased on. Weeks later, and that money hasn't arrived. I will not be purchasing from here again, which is disappointing because most of the time their food is good. This experience was unacceptable. The dish was completely flavorless. I cannot order from here again because I don't want to risk losing another $30+ dollars on food that may or may not be good.

Even though our order was wrong, what we received what amazing. The jerk chicken was extremely flavorful and their chicken wings were really good too. Pricing is on par and you definitely get a good amount of food for your buck. Hopefully if we come back, our order will be correct!
