I really enjoy the okra and goat pepper soup but they really need to get a hold of their operating hours. Never plan to visit on a Friday after 6 for food and please understand at anytime you can go for a sit down, meal And drinks and they will let you know they have an event going on so it's take out only. There was a time when this was a spot you can go to for drinks, food and lounging. Now, nope unless you are renting for an event. Overit.com. My healthy cholesterol prolly don't need that soup no way .

100% the worst service I have ever received at a restaurant. I went on a night where it was basically completely empty except for a party which was already fed. I go to order my food and they are out of ALL the soups. I ended up ordering something else and then they tell me that another item is not available 20 minutes after my original order. After waiting 40 min I ask about my food only to tell me that ANOTHER item was not available. I was originally planning on eating in but at this point I decided to take my food to go. The food was alright but definitely going to be going to any other African restaurant because the experience was just awful.

It's been said before, but it's true! The food exceeded my expectations! We got the "Ishi-Ewu" along with pepper soup, Rice, and Egusi with Pounded Yam. Four Entrees in Total, and the price was super reasonable. Satisfied customer from MD. Highly Recommended!

I must say that I was skeptical about this place but it exceeded my expectations. On a Friday We pull up to a shabby building in upper Darby and while the outside looks sketchy, the inside is wayyyy better. They have a separate entrance for the restaurant portion and then a second entrance for the lounge. Dinner was great. Def well seasoned and tasty and portions were good. I def couldn't eat it all as I got full fast. The waitress was also nice. The lounge itself exceeded my expectations. You walk into a club atmosphere and people are literally dancing nonstop to afrobeats. It was soo fun. Did I mention the drinks were STRONG!? Yasss. They seemingly had bottle service but not sure how that works. The DJ had the crowd rocking. Def plan to go back on a different night to see if the vibe is the same

I came to this club after a really good experience in 2019. Unfortunately, it is not the same fun experience that I remember from 2019. All of Saturday night(afrobeats night) was spent highlighting new artists that I was not even interested in. I just wanted some good mainstream afrobeats and a good time. All this to say, if you want a good afrobeats club, this is NOT it.

I had a terrible experience with the owner who was extremely rude and misleading. After speaking to her twice on the phone and confirming that she had certain items in stock, i placed an order only to be informed hours later by the doordash driver that she didn't have the items i ordered. They wanted me to let them keep the money and they'll add the items to my order next time i place one which ??? makes no sense ?? finally when i got it cancelled an replaced the order, it arrived and was completely wrong! i called the owner back and i'm pretty sure she was at church because there was extremely loud gospel music playing in the background and she didn't want to move to a quieter space or give the the number for someone who was actually at the restaurant. I told her the items were wrong and she was like "What do you want me to do about it?" and i told her that i'd like the missing items i ordered and she told me that i have to send someone to pick it up! If i COULD have done that then i wouldn't have freaking ordered delivery in the first place!! I asked if she could send someone, she said no, and was getting so agitated and snappy with me, shouting, making snide comments until finally she was like "how are you going to solve this?" i said "YOU tell ME. You're the one who messed up my order" and she was like "And so??" m Finally i just had to take a deep breath and laugh to myself to keep from having a breakdown. This food was ordered for a family reunion and we don't see each other often so it was very important and it was placed HOURS advance so they could have called to let us know things were out of stock at any point during the day. Mind you, this order was over $200. Anyway, still working with doordash to get a refund. I will NEVER be ordering from this place again and if you value your peace of mind, you shouldn't either. Also, the pounded yam was lumpy.

I've been dying to try this restaurant out. This is the second time I've came here and they never seem to have anything on the menu. I asked for 4 different menu items, and each time, I was told they don't have it. First of all, when I walked in, there was no host, and I stood there for two minutes before I had to seat myself while staff members sat at tables talking. It's sad because I've heard great things about this place but I give up
