I wanted a nice meal to celebrate finishing the week and this was right around the corner from me. I ordered a half pound of head off shrimp, boiled eggs, and it came with a half corn Cobb and one potato. I also got a side of macaroni just because I'm a connoisseur and wanted to sample it. The seafood boil was delicious. The first thing I tasted was the corn and I was presently surprised that it was juicy and firm. Most seafood boils give you soggy corn but not here. The potato was equally firm while stil being tender. The special blend (mixes all of their seasonings) in medium heat was the perfect choice for me. Very well seasoned but not overly salty or ridiculously spicy to the point it deadens your taste buds. The Mac and cheese was okay as well. Keep in mind that it is a creamy stovetop style and not a baked version. It's seasoned and not overly cooked. I probably wouldn't prefer this side just because I'm more of a baked Mac and cheese girl but I can guarantee most kida would adore this.

To start it off this establishment is NOT For black people They were very rude to everyone that was black ! Also the FOOD was so Nasty ! I would not recommend ! They would not give me ketchup for my food & told me I could not dine in while multiple people was dining in ! I will not ever go back here nor give this Place my money ! We have ordered at this place a couple of times now. We only tried the boiled seafood: steamed flounder and head-off shrimp. Both were phenomenal! Perfectly cooked with generous portion of seafood. They could have added another piece or two of corns for the price. We bought extra. Their house special butter sauce was so delicious. It's something with the Old Bay plus their own secret seasoning. We are glad that they are in our neighborhood. It's our go-to place now for cajun boil seafood.

The Ruby's Cajun in Springfield mall has good food and a nice atmosphere BUT the waiter was SO RUDE. He acted like we were bothering him. Couldn't answer simple questions about the menu. Brushed us off. Would not recommend this place only because of tne service. Get take out.

My daughters and I order from one or another of this franchise at least once a month. That is our treat because we all enjoy seafood. The food is DELICIOUS. While running errands we decided to call in a pick up order. Between our two orders it came to $125 and some change. No big deal. We pay for what we want. When we got to the restaurant, we decided that we'll eat in. The first thing that happened was when the person at the register asked for the name and I gave it, she asked if I was sure I ordered from there? I pointed to my name that was sitting beside her AND showed her my order on my phone. When we shared our desire to eat in, the young woman told us that because we used DOORDASH, it would be a 50% GRATUITY CHARGE. We just spent quite a bit of money already and now they wanted to charge $60 MORE for us to eat in?! The restaurant was empty, there was no reason why we couldn't sit and enjoy their food. After she stated that, my daughter and I decided to take our food home instead. That was the MOST UNCOMFORTABLE situation we've ever been placed in. We're just happy that there are other franchises to choose from because the food is delicious but trying to STEAL more money off a customer is UNACCEPTABLE. Bad move Cedar Brook.

It was ok nothing to go blabbing to all your friends about. They are pretty fast with the order's,menu has variety,,,I had the wings they were cool and I had the seafood fries (i think that's what they are called) those were trash! They put some type of sauce that tastes kind of sweet on top,yuck! The crab meat seems like it was just sat on top straight from the can or package,parts of it was cold and some were warm. I guess it got a little warm from the fries and cheese.

Went there with my family after a game didn't realize what time it was and the waitress sat us, took our order which was about 80$ worth of food. After it came out she proceeded to tell us they closed at 10 and it's 9:55 so we had to hurry. She then came back at 10 and asked us to get to go boxes because she had to leave to go to a party. I explained to her she should of never let us sit down if that was the case. Very unprofessional and seems like she just wanted us to spend money and kick us out. We left and will never return! Now I see why the restaurant is always empty.

Now they charge for sauce?? 6$ for the regular condiments (dipping sauce) they used to provide with their platters? I told them i wouldnt be back and suddenly she gave me 2 like they used to give. The fries are great. Dont bother with the expensive tasteless coleslaw or the straight out the frozen seafood box coconut shrimp. The fried shrimp and scallops are good. My H loved the oysters. I thought we found a new place to go to minus a few minuses but as I said before..If I have to pay 6$ just to have something to dip my shrimp in thats usually given with a platter..Then its a NO for me. I wish GROBANS was still open :(

Was here on Friday! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because even though the gumbo is really good, it has very little rice to the point that I asked for more rice in it and was charged for it, so paid for a bowl of rice when I only needed a few spoon fulls which I should have been offered without charge as I specifically pointed out that there was barely any rice in the gumbo.
