Nice spot to hang out with friends, alone, kids or pets. You get some amazing views of manhattan, if you like taking photos you’ll get some great ones from this park. Views are amazing from both day and night.

Beautiful and very peaceful. Amazing views of the Manhattan skyline. It's also not overly crowded and mostly locals walking their dogs or kids. The best time is late afternoon to early evening to wind down, enjoy the sunset reflecting off the East River and the buildings across. Or come for an early morning walk to have a calming start to your day. There are plenty of seats along the pathway to just take a few minutes to sit and breathe in the scenery. Perfect for a romantic stroll or a picnic with your family.

A Peaceful Escape
I recently visited Gantry Park Plaza hoping to catch a beautiful sunset, but unfortunately, the weather was gloomy. Despite the lack of a vibrant sunset, my visit was still a pleasant experience. This park offers a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of New York City life. It's a great place to unwind and enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere.

Wow. Quiet, not crowded. Parking wasn't too bad on a Saturday. Well kept area with excellent views of Manhattan's FDR drive by the UN.
