Came on a Sunday evening at 8pm and had to wait 30 minutes to get seated. We walked around the neighborhood a bit. Inside is packed tight very cozily. The service was really good and consistent and fast despite being super busy.
Food was very good! The octopus appetizer was probably the best octopus I've ever had - so soft and tender and juicy! We got the whole fish (black sea bass) deboned but there were still some bones but it was pretty decent. The scallop dish was a ton of scallops! What a delight. The lemon potatoes were very flavored and very soft. Also their Greek salad was somehow just so yummy.
At the end we got some traditional custard dessert. Overall we were very happy and satisfied. Thank you!

Great seafood place. Their stuffed clams, stuffed shrimp, scallops are delicious and fulling. I liked everything at this place. And the complementary dessert tastes great.  Plan to come here many times in the future.

The place was busy, even on a Wednesday night. We had to wait around 15 minutes to get seated, but the service was good. They kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. The food was served hot and with large portions. The appetizers looked like a feast! We had a lot of food to bring home afterward. Dessert was served afterward.

It was very busy when we arrived but got sat very quickly. Everyone was friendly and all of the service staff looked like models.
Our server was very friendly. Just a little forgetful. Food came out at a respectable time. Nice and hot. Calamari was kind of bland.  Everything else was delicious. They also forgot our free dessert at the end but it didn’t ruin our meal.

I recently dined at Taverna Kyclares in Astoria and had an amazing experience. The ambience is delightful, with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that complements the fresh and flavorful seafood dishes. Every bite was delicious, and the staff was attentive and friendly.

The only downside is that the inside space feels a bit too small, making it slightly inconvenient to move around comfortably. However, the overall dining experience more than makes up for it, and I’ll definitely be back!
