I was super excited to try this place. I loved the vibes here - this place is def very cute. The drinks were decent but everything else was mid or bad.

Out table split the mixed grill and shared the empanada basket. The meat in the mixed grill was all tough and all chewy. Everything was just over cooked and not enjoyable. We also got the broccolini vegetable and it was sitting in a soup of sauce. And it wasn’t good. We left hungry and didn’t eat much. Feeling disappointed and also hungry!

everything was outstanding. we were the last table of the night and we left as they were closing up but they treated us like the first table of the evening. service was great. food was very good. chicken milanese can feed two people, which makes me question what kind of chicken they are using because this single chicken breast was bigger than my head. i understand the chicken is butterflied and pounded thin however from my experience in food chicken this big is usually lower quality chicken. aside from that, like i said everything was great. very expensive, a good spot for a special occasion.

Food is 10/10 I couldn’t even wait to take a pic until I tried everything. Sadly the service leaves a lot to be desired.
Ordered the parrillada for two and it took much, much longer than it should have. I must also say the restaurant wasn’t even that busy about half the tables were open. Waitress and (who seemed to be) the manager just kept saying “it’s coming” and didn’t really seem to care.
I understand these things happen and it might have been an isolated incident but the staff reaction didn’t make it seem like it was.

Not sure if I’d necessarily go back but I would maybe order take out.

I’ve been here a dozen or so times. They used to have a Michelin star, but recently lost it. I am not surprised.  The quality of food has fallen off of a cliff.

My most recent visit was the worst of them all.
The service is pretty consistent. They’re attentive and friendly.

The food……I ordered a NY strip ($75)
I have no problem paying for a quality cut of meat.  I’ve been to lots of steakhouses all over the world. (Not trying to sound pretentious )
I get that this is an Argentinian(grill) restaurant. It’s not Keen’s or Smith and Wollensky’s. It’s not trying to be that.
They’re an Argentinian restaurant….
That being said………

This steak was the worst steak I’ve ever eaten in my entire life.
It tasted foul…rubbery….rotten.

Not sure how they serve a dish like that. Where is the quality control?
Not sure I will be coming back any time soon.  Such a shame.

The food was very good but if I were to come back I know I'd be ordering the choripan and the basket of empanadas again!
