A delightful cafe in little Washington across from the Inn.  My pulled pork sandwich was not as flavorful as expected, the French fries were spot on. My husband enjoyed the curried chicken salad on a croissant.  I was surprised that a soda refill is not free.

The outside seating was perfect for our 75 degree day.  It is pet friendly. There is parking behind the building.  It is very popular and stayed busy during the lunch hours.

There is a bakery, but out of my price range. A very small jar of honey is over $25.   The desserts are $10 for a very small item. I don’t doubt they are delicious.

Take time to walk over to the Inn.  The dining rooms are the most elegant and unique decor I’ve ever seen.  They are a 3 star Michelin rated restaurant and extremely impressive.

A cute cafe and bakery across from the inn at little washington. My Wagyu burger was somewhere in the middle in terms of being flavorful and good but the fries were well done. The Bloody Mary deviled eggs were also enjoyable. I truly loved the hot cocoa here. We also made our way over to the bakery and that was very good; hence, the four star. The service at the cafe itself was really good.

The food was impeccable and the interior super cozy and inviting. Our service was generally very good, although we realized that our server did not tell us what the specials of the day were when we overheard another server telling a table next to us about them. Will absolutely be going again!

Love their appetizers.
We ordered the salmon and French onion soup. The salmon not only looks delicate and well-presented, but also paired well with the flatbread. You just don’t get bored with it. They nailed the French onion soup-it will match up your expectations.
The wagyu burger did not surprise me by its patties, instead, I was more content with the bun that was super fluffy. The tomato sauce in replacement of tomato slices are a thoughtful revision. We were bit underwhelmed by the waffles. Not sure why it came in three, instead of four, the waffles did not have a slight crispy crust nor a soft texture that would’ve been more perfect in combination with the fruit compotes/syrups that came with it.
One suggestion for the mimosas: it takes quite some time for the fruit flower to melt, which might leave some customers just finishing the alcohol portion without getting to fully appreciate the fruit flavor that gets more infused the longer you let the mimosa sit there. Might need to figure out some other ways to better incorporate the flavors.

We ordered a selection of sandwiches, all of which were delicious. The ambiance was further enhanced by a delightful mix of country music and French tunes playing in the background.
