Highly recommend staying here while visiting Newport, we were welcomed by the friendly staff and the scent of freshly baked biscuits. The location is close to the Cliff Walk (a two minute walk down the road) the ambiance is charming. We loved it for a weekend winter getaway and look forward to returning. The historic charm of this inn, combined with the modern upgrades are wonderful.

I love boutique hotels steeped in history and this place absolutely delivered for my one-night birthday stay. Katie in particular took excellent care of us! The vibe was very "sip your wine by the fire in cashmere socks before your dinner reservation downtown". Breakfast was delicious and you can take your coffee to stroll the Cliff Walk, which is just steps away. Can confirm that the decor is the perfect balance of personality and taste. Do you ever stay at places that clearly have a story, and the longer you're there, you can't help but imaging yourself in the story?

My wife and I came here for a quick weekend getaway after reading some of the very positive online reviews. The house is perfect, not so big that it feels cold and uninviting and not so small that you feel on top of the other guests. Beautiful inside and out, tons of character and charm with every fixture, fireplace, decorative molding and wall covering you see. Truly a wonderful and very comfortable place to stay. The complimentary wine by the outdoor firepit before before we went to dinner was wonderful. Our room was decorated so perfectly and the bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was a great surprise too, the food that was prepared for us was a 10 out of 10. So many different options to choose from and they were all fabulous. We really love this Inn and decided we are making it a regular stop in our lives. All the rooms are so different that it will be a new experience each time we stay - can't wait to go back!

The best place to stay in Newport. Rooms are beautifully decorated, comfortable and clean. The fireplaces in each are a massive treat in the winter. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The freshly baked chocolate cookies, and complimentary breakfast and wine hour are a lovely touch. Highly recommend.
