This spot was on my list for quite some time.

Our experience at Ft. Fuji was slightly disappointing from the start. Although the restaurant was half-empty when we arrived, it still took longer than expected to be seated despite having a reservation.

The food is hibachi-style, which we were not expecting. The prices were steep for what was offered, and unfortunately, the ventilation was poor. Smoke and fumes from the grills filled the air, making the atmosphere uncomfortable throughout our visit. Our clothing smelled of smoke and fumes from the food.

To top it off, the service left much to be desired—staff seemed inattentive, and we felt overlooked during the meal. For the price and ambiance, it wasn’t worth it. I wouldn’t recommend it unless they make some serious improvements.

Driving up towards the establishment was good since there was no cars driving down. Once at the top of the mountain, you have to find where to park due to the lack of signage, you have to figure it out yourself.

We were hoping for a memorable experience but that wasn’t what we experienced.

We came here for a wedding reception. It’s a great location. Beautiful views especially right now in the fall season. There is valet parking and a coat check room. The whole staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of cool decor outside end downstairs. The food was very good. I would definitely come back to for a dinner visit.

This place has an amazing location &  view. The food is great and chefs try their best to entertain you during the cooking time.
I will recommend to make a reservation before you go for it. I love this place and for sure will get back here soon for another hibachi portion.

The service was so personalized and thought through! The chefs brightened up our whole tables mood by being funny, singing, asking questions, etc. The food itself was good, but a little outdated. I haven’t gone to it in 3 years (before i went to it a few days ago) and the results are the same. But that’s ok, because it tastes amazing!

I had an amazing experience at Mt. Fuji! The dinner was delicious- our chef was great. The restaurant itself is beautiful and well-kept, creating a lovely atmosphere. The food did take a little longer to arrive than expected, but it was worth the wait. Overall, great for a family dinner or date night and I’ll be back.
