ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The chefs we had were; Alex, David & Kevin. Each prepared a unique dish for the 5 course meal. They were able to accommodate a coconut allergy in our group and we did get the opportunity to sit at the chefs counter. This place is what it is and that's the best part. You check in, and let the chefs guide you through a meal. In working in the hospitality industry, I have tremendous respect and admiration for what chefs do and how they create edible magic. This is a perfect example of that. Just sit down & EAT! Will be back.

My boyfriend and I came here on our last night of vacation in Charleston, SC. We were treated to a delectable five course meal that consisted of many different exquisitely handmade dishes. The chefs were so friendly and personable, and it was very clear how much passion they had for their craft! Everything tasted so delicious and it was exciting that they choose the day's menu each day, so you never really know what you will get! They are very respectful of dietary restrictions, as some of the other guests had special instructions and requests.

A very small place with a rustic atmosphere, but the food was very good. You don’t know what you will get until you show up. We had squash soup seared tuna, chicken, and gnocchi, broccoli and beef and a blueberry cake type dessert. Parking is on the street.

Amazing as always. First time at the downtown location. It’s always a fun and interactive experience. If you are truly not a picky eater just trust what these skilled chefs make you and you won’t be disappointed. They can accommodate most allergies too! Make sure to make your reservation in advance, especially during tourist seasons!

För mycket för mig och tillräckligt för min man. Tyckte om att interagera med R och Alex när de delade berättelser om maten och sig själva. Var det lekfullhet, lite sarkasm och ett styggt ord eller två? Ja, och det sammanfattar de flesta vuxna samtal jag har. Inget olämpligt. Satt bredvid en grupp från Philly som var tillbaka för andra gången. Om du är lite sur, inte äventyrlig, vill ta med dig rester hem och är väldigt noga med din musik, kanske välj en annan restaurang eller stanna hemma och laga mat.

Gå någon annanstans, en otrolig besvikelse. Om du vill spendera $ 70 per person för fem rätter av snacks sedan med alla medel gå. Vi lämnade undrar var vi ska gå på middag eftersom vi åt ingenting som liknade en 5 - rätters måltid. R:s kök är en bra idé, men dåligt utfört. Sämsta kundservice av Alex, en av kocken/ägarna. Om du vill ha medelmåttig mat i ett smutsigt kök som serveras av en arg kock, är det här stället för dig. Be inte om ett vinglas eller is eftersom han kommer att skrika på dig... även personalen är rädd för honom. Charleston har mycket bättre mat än det här stället.

Varit här flera gånger och alltid gillat maten trots en kocks (Alex) ständiga oförskämdhet. Fullständig jerk... kommer aldrig att gå igen och kommer aldrig att rekommendera det... vi lämnade faktiskt efter vår första kurs som vi inte kunde ta hans otäckhet längre

Mer än en middag, det var en enastående upplevelse. Vi satt i baren med kocken precis framför oss. Jag vill notera att jag har en hel del allergier som de gick över med mig både dagarna innan och på restaurangen. Det fanns så mycket att se, 5 rätter, alla perfekt tillagade och kryddade. Variationen var underbar. Maten var så fantastisk. Ryan, Sarah och souschef var så underhållande. Det var olikt allt jag någonsin har gjort, och jag njöt av varje minut av måltiden. Jag kan inte rekommendera dem tillräckligt högt.

Wow! Jag var inte säker på vad som väntade och lite tveksam eftersom du visste vad menyn skulle vara. Det visade sig vara en rolig och läcker upplevelse. Mycket liten restaurang där du kan titta på de begåvade kockarna Alex och Lee laga mat och interagera med kunderna som behandlas som gamla vänner. Jag kan äta där varje dag.

Vilket bra koncept för en restaurang. 5-rätters måltiden var en av de bästa måltiderna jag någonsin haft på länge. Musiken var fantastisk, och kockarna var utmärkta på sitt hantverk. Vänlig och underhållande medan de lagar mat. Vi njöt av att sitta vid disken medan du tittar på dem förbereda kurserna.

Hade bokning för lördag kväll; måste vara @the door senast 8 : 00 pm. Begränsade sittplatser för en mycket personlig och rolig middagsupplevelse. . . maten tillagas framför dig och serveras av kockarna på plats. . . griffeltavlans meny när du serveras vad de förbereder den kvällen. . . började med en flaska pinot grigio (rimligt prissatt @$ 30) sedan 5 rätter som börjar med en fantastisk butternut squash soppa, följt av en brynt blomkål/broccolisallad med hemlagad dressing. . . 1 gaturätt var fläskmage med en speciell sås; unik och tillfredsställande. . . 2:a förrätten var färska stekta kycklingnuggets och söt julienne slaw.... pricken över i:et var hemlagad chokladkaka och hemgjord vaniljglass att dö för! Kan inte vänta med att gå tillbaka!

Mycket unik matupplevelse när du ser kockarna förbereda och tallrik varje rätt av vår 5-rätters måltid. Bästa platsen i huset är i baren så var en av de första personerna i dörren. Dörrarna öppnas exakt klockan sex och åtta, inte en minut innan. Man vet aldrig i förväg vad som finns på menyn, men de kan tillgodose eventuella specialdieter/behov. Vår måltid var utsökt och jag skulle gå tillbaka när som helst!
