Where do I begin? To start off, this is a beautiful place from the outside to the inside. The food was extremely good and our server Dakota was even better. He was very knowledgeable and attentive and I couldn’t ask for anyone better. To top it off the nice lady unlocked the rooftop for us and allowed us to do a walk through of both the second and top floor. I highly recommend this place to anyone and my boyfriend and I will for sure be back ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I only hit the rooftop at sunset but it was fantastic. I enjoyed  watching the people on the main street over a ring of fire cocktail. Yes, it's super spicy!!

Stars sets my standard for excellence. I had the beef short ribs. Fantastic the girls had the duck and smash burger. Best we have ever had. Dakota is awesome.

Was a bit disappointed with the food.

Half of the duck breast was cooked perfectly and the other half was raw. When we mentioned it to the waiter he even mentioned that he noticed (then why did you serve it to us!). He spoke to the manager who did give us a discount but never came over to apologize or check on us.

The grilled asparagus was delicious as were the truffle hash browns. The gouda Mac and cheese was good enough (nothing special, especially for the price and size).

The shrimp and grits ate well separately but not as a composed dish. The tomato jam was way too sweet and felt like marinara sauce. The grits and shrimp separately were very good. But when I tried to put it all together it was way out of balance.

All in all the food was good but not great and not worth the price. The service was ok but could have been so much better.

Left disappointed.

Vi undersökte inte denna restaurang i förväg, eftersom vi inte var säkra på vilken tid vi skulle göra det till middag. Vi hittade stjärnor vid 6 : 00 och satte sig direkt. 

Servern var Joshua och han var okej att börja med, men pressade oss att beställa förrätter när vi egentligen bara ville börja med drinkar och aptitretare först eftersom kvällen var tidig. 

Vi tog två öl och ett glas vin, och igen, innan han ens fick våra drinkar han pressade för hårt för förrätter. Till slut var jag tvungen att säga ”Jag skulle vilja njuta av min drink och förrätt och se om jag fortfarande är hungrig.” Han verkade blödig. 

Maten var genomsnittlig och på nedervåningen var varmt. Träborden behöver renoveras eftersom de var klibbiga även om de var rena.

Taket var fantastisk och vibbarna var oöverträffad, men det blir mycket trångt så var redo! Verkligen haft det här och rekommenderar starkt, men runt solnedgången vara beredd på folkmassor!

Vi åt här nyligen på ett besök i Charleston. Det var vår första gången och skulle sannolikt vara vår sista baserat på vår erfarenhet. Restaurangen var för varm, bordet och båset var båda mycket klibbiga. Kyparen var anständigt och tog vår beställning snabbt. Maten kom ut ungefär fem minuter efter att vi fått våra sallader som var lite stressade men inga problem... ..problemet var att maten helt enkelt inte var så bra. Biffar var inte kryddade, hummer var överkokt, sidorna var mycket intetsägande. Vad som var riktigt konstigt var att vår server inte verkade bry sig om att vi var och en bara åt en del av vår måltid. Ingen avslutade sina förrätter och sidorna var ungefär hälften förbrukade. 

Förrätterna var svaga - hyschvalparna var torra och halkade focacciapausen som var så torr att den smulades sönder när man skar den. Caesarsallad var blöt, burratasallad var ok. Min smashburgare var nog den bästa av förrätterna. Skippa hummer och pommes frites eftersom hummerdelen var liten och överkokt - allt för en ynka $ 60 förrätt. Som jag nämnde ovan kryddades inte biffar alls. Mycket intetsägande och tråkigt. 

Hoppa över denna plats och gå någon annanstans.

Personalen var fantastisk. Vi kom precis efter att de tog emot matbeställningar, men de tog nådigt vår och dukade upp ett barbord för oss. De kunde inte ha varit snällare eller mer vänliga. Jag älskar Charleston och har varit många gånger men det var min SIL första besök, och hon kunde inte ha varit mer imponerad av gästfrihet efter en mycket lång kördag för henne. Maten och dryckerna var utsökt och jag kommer definitivt att gå tillbaka.

Åt en fantastisk middag igår kväll. Bra service och förslag från Raymond, vår server. Om du vill ha en söt plats att dela en bra tid med vänner, kolla in Stars och se till att fråga efter honom! Du kommer inte att bli besviken.

Öppet på måndag! 
Vi var i centrum på en måndag kväll för en show på Music Hall och var förvånad över att en hel del restauranger var stängda. Stars var öppen med tillgängliga sittplatser. 
Kyparen var uppmärksam, förklarade menyn, gav oss tid att besöka och besluta vad man ska beställa. 
Vi började med musslorna, mycket bra. Bordet delade sötpotatispommes frites, den kryddiga ketchupen är stor. Vår grupp beställde havstallrik, rotisseriekyckling, ankbröst, Caesarsallad med grillade räkor. Allt var underbart och pläterade vackert. 
Vi delade brödpudding och rekommenderar starkt! Våra vattenglas var aldrig tomma.

Utsökt måltid, bra atmosfär och drycker var på punkt. Min familj och jag åkte hit efter turné Charleston så snart de öppnade. Vi var klädda i shorts och sådant eftersom vi inte förväntade oss att göra någon fin middag, men värdinnan välkomnade oss i och satte oss omedelbart. Vi åt fläskmage som förrätt, 3 biffar, ankfettsfingerpotatis och svampgratäng. Till vår måltid åt jag en whiskey sour och min man en gammaldags. När jag säger att allt var fantastiskt menar jag det. Jag skulle definitivt rekommendera denna plats.

Även om detta inte är den bästa restaurangen i staden, hade vi en fantastisk stekmiddag där på en fredagskväll när de flesta platser var fulla. Bra service och biff med tryffelfries skulle få mig att återvända. Det är en avslappnad plats med betonggolv. Ingen mat serveras i utomhusbaren på övervåningen.

Även på en livlig natt i november var solnedgången på taket fantastisk. Sedan var vi på väg ner till middagen där vår server Sullivan var så mycket vänlig och varm. Burger var mycket välsmakande liksom ribben. Skulle definitivt rekommendera.

Takbaren är trevlig genom att du sitter ute på den varma kvällen med stjärnorna och dricker öl men utsikten är inget speciellt. Men maten i bottenvåningen var mycket bra, i en av dessa skinntypskor som du ser i filmer. Biffen vi hade var läcker och välsmakande och mycket rimligt prissatt för sådan trevlig mat. Grundligt åtnjöt det.

Vi kom som ett parti av fyra med en reservation och satt omedelbart. Var och en av oss hade en annan maträtt och tillät provsmakningar från varje tallrik. Den åldrade biffen var utmärkt medan de andra rätterna inte var imponerande. Risotto var inte rik och smakrik och var lite kokt. Napolitanska var tjock och tung av ricotta. Den sista maträtten var fikonsallad och förvånansvärt bra. Tjänsten var på plats, så det är ett plus!

Min man och jag firade vår jubileumsvecka i Charleston och hittade denna plats genom att söka på takbarer. När vi gick uppför de fyra (?) Trappstegen, tog vi oss till taket bara för att upptäcka att den var helt död. Visst, det var en tisdag kväll. Men om du letar efter en fantastisk utsikt över taket, är detta definitivt inte platsen för det. Det fanns så mycket bladverk runt kanterna att man inte ens kunde se ner till gatan! Det fanns ingen atmosfär, ingen musik, annat än den svaga livemusiken vi kunde höra spela från gatan. Det var de mest besvärliga 20 minuterna i Charleston. Vi kunde inte avsluta våra drycker tillräckligt snabbt och komma ut om de är där.

Jag kommer att säga att jag tycker att en brunchbuffé är svår att göra bra. Jag tror att mat val var bra men bara inte verkställdes liksom jag hade hoppats. Det finns en kall sida med sallader och frukt och en varm sida med vän kyckling Benedict, räkor och grits, hem frites ect. Jag bryr mig inte om bacon som smakade som flytande rök hade hällts över den. Om du letar efter en enkel plats för en stor grupp är det ett standardalternativ.
