Hands down the most amazing hotel experience!  So attentive from the moment you step into the lobby with welcome drinks presented.  A true southern hospitality atmosphere with the sweetest butler services from Darryl, Chuck, and Michelle.  Everyone seemed to love their city and had nothing but great recommendations on what to do and where to eat.  Planning on taking the in-laws next time to experience our love for Charleston.  This gem of a place needs to be shared with everyone!!!!

This hotel was sublime! If I could pack it in my bag on all my trips, I would! From the time you entered, until you left, it was top notch service! This hotel's focus on the customer experience, especially with the butler's, was fantastic. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted and waited for someone to come assist us with our bags. We then went inside to check in, we were offered a complimentary drink while waiting for our designated butler to take us to our rooms with our luggage. Once inside, they provided a personally crafted overview of what to expect while staying at the hotel, how to use the items and services in our rooms and all the complimentary beverages we have stocked in our fridge. In addition, you could order breakfast and have it delivered to your room in the morning, which is also complimentary! Absolutely fabulous! Plus, the bathroom was amazing with the beautiful decor, large shower and a towel warmer. Yes, a towel warmer!

The rooms and attentive butler service is why I would return to stay here when in town. Plus, the bar downstairs serves incredible drinks and small bites. You can't go wrong with staying here. Something I truly treasured was at the end of each day, there was a small chocolate bite with something special inside with a friendly message. This personal touch truly just made this luxurious experience extra special. With round the clock service, plus other personalised services available, you will have an incredible stay here. Now, the only thing my family and I agreed on is breakfast could be better, but other than that, 5/5!

Wow! This hotel is spectacular from the amazing attention to detail to the incredible butlers this hotel has it all. In a beautiful area in downtown Charleston the hotel is situated right in the heart of it. All you are just a short walk to all the sites and scenes of what Charleston has to offer. The beautiful hotel bar is also an amazing space to enjoy before or after an evening on the town, you will want for nothing if you stay at the spectator. Can’t wait to go back!

This is one of my favorite hotels of all time.  The staff is a big reason for that.  The butlers are great to work with.  They make you feel special.  And there is not a lot of turnover in the staff.  So they get to know you as you visit.  If I walked in there today, the head butler David would look at me and say “hey it has been a while, welcome back.”  The location is right next to the market.  They have refreshments in the room.  I really like the rooms a lot.  This is a small hotel and it has that small hotel charm. I would recommend a larger room.  So if you are trying to decide when booking, opt for the extra space.  It has been a while since I visited, but I know a return is in the works for 2025.

Everything about my stay was top-notch. The butler service is a great extra feature. Loved getting breakfast delivered to my room. The bar is great. The location is great, right on the market, and walking distance to everything in downtown Charleston. Also appreciated the complimentary umbrellas as the weather was quite dreary during my stay.
