This was my first visit. I was always scared to come because of parking. We came early on a Sunday and there was no issue with parking. Bright pleasant space. The folding chairs are not comfortable. The wait staff was awesome. Our waitress was great and was training a new girl who was also spot on. Food came out very quickly. A great experience. The coffee is very tasty. Good selection of sodas. I had the birrias tacos. Very tasty. I was not sure what to do with this side of broth? I sipped it and I dipped it and neither seemed like it was the right choice. The selection of hot sauces was nice though they could have been hotter. Also had the chips and salsa. Chips were thick and tough. Certainly authentic but more used to commercial type chips. Also had a chicken burrito which was very tasty. I will certainly come back. The food was better than the food I had in either of the two El Molino supermarket locations.

Visited El Molino on a Sunday for lunch with a couple of friends. I had heard good things about the food so I was looking forward to a good meal. Having dined at Colectivo (previous restaurant in this space) I was immediately disappointed with the changes these owners made to the decor. Colectivo's space was uniquely designed and would hit you as you walked through the door. The space now is boring and un-enticing. Service was okay. Took awhile for our orders to be taken but the food arrived in a timely fashion. I had the chicken burrito which was just okay. My friends had a variety of items from the menu and all were adequate. The best thing I ate this trip was the chips and salsa. They make their own chips and they were addicting. I'll def give this place another try since they have been open for only a few months.

Omg we ordered for delivery a few nights ago and our order was out of this world!!!! So delicious!!! We got the burria (spelling) and chip n salsa a flan that was so big the 3 of us shared it and it was just right !!! We highly recommend my only regret is that we didn't take any pics --sorry guys but we'll definitely be ordering from them again!!!!

We enjoyed El Molino. The bartenders and waiters were all super nice and helpful. The tacos are pretty good! My husband really loves the one with potato's and cheese. The drinks were just okay but I think I ordered wrong! Def check them out!

El Molino's on Johns Island just recently opened. We hadn't been, so we decided to give it a try. When we arrived we were seated right away and our drink order was taken. We decided on the morning tacos and chicken tacos, both were fresh, tastie and the price was right. The tacos were served with a side of cucumbers and radishes. The service was fast and friendly. The tacos were as authentic as you can get! The only downside side to this restaurant was the seating. The seating was nothing more than fold up card tables and small fold up chairs. I felt like I was at the kids table on Thanksgiving day!

Stick with the corn tacos, guac, and Mexican Cokes and you'll be happy. We're HUGE Rivers (location) El Molino fans. Yes, the Maybank EM delivers the same fresh, authentic, and delicious tacos. Again, stick with EM's greatest hits. Specifically, the fresh guac and corn steak tacos are both great choices. We'd also like to compliment EM on their fresh sauces. Both the orange and green sauce are unique in their own way and compliment every dish well.

Blown away!!! The food is so good. Authentic taste. Service was terrific. Definitely going back! Margaritas, real tamales, buriburachia,, tacos...Everything was so good. Fun music. Love it.

I visited the new El Molinos on Johns Island. They are in the old Collectivo space. Make sure to prepare yourself. The Collectivo building is beautiful with a nice paver driveway. But inside El Molino is like a kindergarten lunch room. They have small, cheap card tables and four tiny metal folding chairs. My knees hit the table and I'm 5'2" tall. The napkins are rolled in a drinking cup on the table. The service was good. Our waitress was very attentive. She did forget to bring out the sauces for the tacos, but we went to the counter and got them ourselves. The food was really good. I had a chicken taco and a morning taco (scrambled eggs and ham). The homemade tortillas were excellent and soft and fresh. The menu offers all of your favorites so lots to choose. They also have a full bar and various brands of tequila. If you want dessert, they have that too. El Molinos offers a dessert counter to visit as an after meal treat or just because! It's not fancy, the seating is not comfortable, but the food is good.

Such a welcome addition to the island! Wings were yum! Tacos great. Aguachile, authentic and spicy! The asada fries were my fav. California native and this tasted like home. A lot of jerks are parking in landscaping and blocking entrance. Service was friendly though they're rushing you to pay before you've finished eating. Ranking would be higher if not for the godawful chairs! Super cheap. We're average size people. If you are larger or have any kind of back or hip issue, you will be miserable here. Maybe a plus to keep people moving for now, but when things calm down, the chairs will keep locals from hanging out and ordering drinks.
