This is a scam company who totally misrepresented their services. Their travel options, which were very limited, were never better than what I could find online. Turned out to be a very expensive $8,000 mistake.

We attended the presentation and were very pleased with our decision to do so. Initially we were hesitant to do so because of the negative reviews online but decided to go because we left a seating deposit to attend and promised free tickets to local attractions to do so. Thankfully we did attend because they helped us exit our timeshare commitment we have been locked into for years and sunk thousands of dollars into. They also saved us nearly a thousand dollars on our first vacation booked through them. We recommend anyone that travels overlook the reviews and just keep an open mind and if it benefits you take advantage.

We found that this company made promises that it could not keep. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Don't sign up with this company. The presentation was slick. They were very nice. They claimed that we would get discounts between 40 and 70 percent, on everything travel related; air fare, rental cars, hotel and resort stays, and destination attractions. We fell for it and signed up, but when we logged into their web-site and compared their prices to the other online retailers that do not require a membership, the prices were the same, with NO savings. The only discounts they seem to have are on off-season luxury resorts, which is not what we wanted. We have called them and emailed them to get help finding the discounts promised, but we haven't received any response.

My wife and I have been visiting Charleston for years and always stay at the Charleston Place Hotel. We have done all of the tours in town or so we thought. We ended up meeting a gentleman named Ed who talked us into doing a ghost tour and we would receive the tickets free in exchange for watching a 60 minute presentation on discount travel by Great Vacations. We attended and joined and received everything we were promised. We also have already booked our first vacation through them, because they had the dates available we wanted at nearly half the price we found through other websites. We were the only one of four other couples that bought but no one seemed to be dealing with high pressure. So we definitely recommend anyone take advantage of the same opportunity if given the chance.

The only reason I gave them 1 star was because I can't give them negative stars. It was a waste of time and they are a fraud. I will find how to post on a Charlston visitor site not to accept any free tickets if you go see a 45 minute presentation. Charlston should not allow a company to do that, it's not even a time share or anything that is legit. They offer non realistic prices for hotels which could never be true. The tickets for the boat ride were not even worth the waste of time and the aggressiveness you endure after the video. They tell.you if you don't buy it now you can't buy it later and that is obviously because if you leave and search it up you will not buy it. This is a warning to anyone in the Charleston area beware of free tickets and a fraud presentation. Shame on Charleston for allowing that type of fraud in their town!

I completed a prior review and afterward the company manager did contact me. We resolved the issue but not 100% satisfied. I wish they could have provided the services they indicated they could do for our particular needs. There were potentially some good deals but again not meeting our needs. My recommendation is to require the sales person to actual show you proof of what you are looking for before buying into the program.

Started in October. Told agent exact trip destination. Told agent a 3 week time period. Called/texted every month to begin with. Always an excuse for not making arrangements. Panicked in December. Called texted every week. Still promises. No reservations. Finally I refused to end the telephone call until reservation with the cruise company had been made. Turned out to be $5000 more than if booked last fall. I had to continue to contact agent weekly about arrangements for airfare. Finally got hotel reservation for night before cruise a few days before leaving and a hotel reservation for the night after cruise at 2:09am the day we left. Saved NO money on the rooms that were marginal and pricy. Called and got quotes for better rooms and cheaper rates on Hotels.com in 10 minutes. Was promised a $75 rebate that never arrived. Stress was incredibly high. If you count in increase in cruise reservation and membership subscription we are out $12000. We are retired school teachers and this was a once in a lifetime trip for us. Can't afford to do it again!

Unlike the previous reviewer, we had a very different experience. We were stopped on the street to get some vouchers for a ghost tour and a dining voucher in exchange for watching a presentation. The presentation was good and everyone treated us with the utmost professionalism when we declined making a purchase. Completely low pressure and they accepted when we said it just wasn't for us at this time. Would consider this company in the future if our situation changes. We received all our promised gifts without issue.

This was difficult to review because we did not purchase the package. We were upfront from the beginning that we were not interested in purchasing it, but we stopped at the booth to pick up a brochure for fort Sumter and heard the spiel about the local hotels and restaurants trying to get people to come back if you would listen to a 45 minute presentation. Here are the positives-we did get $100 for food credit and they made reservations for us at two restaurants we wanted to go to, we also got two tickets to Fort Sumter and a bicycle cab ride from our hotel to the presentation. So you just need to decide if your time is worth the $200. Cons- My husband and I were on the same page that we were not interested in purchasing the service they provide, which is similar to a travel agent and I believe it's about seven grand and a couple hundred dollars a year for fees. I read the reviews on the program and most of them were negative so if you are interested in the program I suggest you read the reviews of people who have purchased it. I suggest you and your spouse make sure you were on the same page before going to the presentation as it is kind of a hard sell.
