Using the mobile app for ordering is such a breeze - as long as your not "mobile" while doing so! This was a 2nd chance visit; I believe everyone needs a second chance, even a business as old as McD. I elected to use the drive thru for pickup, which was smooth and produced only a short wait. The food was packaged with care it seems because my burger, bun and all the fix'ns in between were stacked neatly - you know, like the picture you see on the advertisements or menu board. Needless to say, a good looking burger always tastes better. The staff was friendly and offered a smile while passing my order through the window, and they topped it off with "Have a nice day". This time, this location gets an "A"!

This location showed as open on Yelp and the McDonalds app so they were taking orders on Christmas Day. Upon arriving at the restaurant, they were actually closed so they were stealing from people charging for orders and not being open. I saw several other cars trying to pick up orders and also drove by in the afternoon and saw cars still trying to no avail. This site is crooked. The next day I called the McDonalds customer service and they said the site had not credited my order - I am waiting for restitution. The owner operator, managers are ok with stealing from people. Horrible.

Was in McDonald's and loud Mexican music was coming from the kitchen which I think isn't professional. The food did come out fast. I know this is a fast food place but customers don't need to hear this while waiting for your order

The fries were cold. He ordered a CHICKEN Big Mac they were advertising and he got a hamburger Big Mac instead. Asked for extra ketchup and salt and got no salt but a bunch of pepper.

I need a receipt when I use my work credit card and he said the machine was down so I was like all of them and this chic with dreds and blue shirt and glasses she was like we ain't got no receipt for you and I was like well I need one so go print it and the guy walked away and she started to yell at him I told you to tell her we ain't got no receipts so she yelled at me and I was like well give me the corporate number and she's like you can walk in her and get it and I was like I'm not going anywhere without a receipt and then dude comes back and hands me my receipt like why are you lying to customers and having your workers lie to customers. Make that guy the manager and fire her on the spot. Ghetto

Not open until midnight. Sign on window says 11 and they shut the lights off and didn't acknowledge anyone in the drive thru at 10:45.

Wow, how badly this place has fallen. If it was possible to not give any stars, I would. There is no customer service anymore, I was told I had to place my order at the kiosk, and no, I don't want to try to figure it out, I know what I want. When I asked if I had to, because he literally just took someone''s order ahead of me, he said "you see any one standing there to take your order?" Then the kiosk wouldn't work. I absolutely HATE having to go to these places and ring up my own grocery's, why even bother to have people working, I thought I was doing a good thing not driving my truck and trailer through the drive thru. It's so sad. I won't be back to this one. And the worst part is, nobody cares, no one will probably read this, and that guy will just keep being rude and chasing people off. It won't matter, people will keep coming back for their Big Mac. It really doesn't even matter.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but honestly is the best policy. I don't compare McDonald's to the high-end cuisine of downtown, but compared to other fast food restaurants (and even other McDonald's restaurants), this is one to skip. The location was rebuilt with kiosks, which are great for younger people but doesn't work well for older folks, if you're paying cash, or you have coupons. The kiosks are a trend at McDonalds, and the employees can't control that. However, expect to wait here, and when you get your food, check it before you leave. I ordered a regular size McFlurry and got a junior size soft serve with M&Ms spooned on top. I asked them to mix it (they did), and the workers didn't seem to know about that step in making McFlurries. Make sure you have any sauce you asked for, too. It's hard to find good F&B workers in Charleston. I understand that fast food pays poorly and the workers put up with a lot, but a good attitude goes far- especially at an intersection with lots of quick options.

New location, same shenanigans. I was very excited at the thought of this renovated location but they should have found new talent with the redesign. The Scene: It's ridiculously cold at all times. Regardless of how fast you eat, the food will be cold before you're done. There is a high top section located directly in the lobby meaning if someone is at the kiosks attempting to complete an order, the line will be right beside you while eating. The Eats: The ice cream machine has never been down! But they don't seem to stock much else - shredded lettuce, tomatoes, the Minute Maid slushies posted all over the building. Ain't got it. The food is sloppily thrown together as if a blind, one armed badger is working the line. I posted pictures of my bagel which is also darker than the sausage. The Service: You absolutely cannot win this battle. The drive thru is a 20 minute wait even if it's 3 cars. You will have to ask for napkins. Ordering on the mobile app? Don't expect it to be correct. I was meticulous in asking and paying extra for sauces, detailing my drink and customizing the burger without pickles for my Half Pint. Complete and total disregard. When I asked for the requested fruit punch she tried to convince me that the light pink drink was indeed correct. Perhaps it was running out and she didn't care. If you seek ocular exercise, you will roll your eyes like a Caribbean dancer during a Reggae festival. One the last three occasions it's been a blood pressure raising hell. I didn't expect to be greeted like Chick-Fil-a but the cashier approached in a manner that I thought I'd have to square up on a Sunday morning. After choosing what they didn't have he loudly asked me "What you want" while I was clearly selecting a new meal. We ordered and while waiting hear a woman shout "we ain't got no slushie mix" to the front. The cashier did not budge. I approached him and informed him that I would need a refund. He looked bewildered as to why I wanted my $2 back. Oh but use the kiosk in the cramped lobby you say? Sure if you chose one the works. And guess what? You can't pay there. You have to get in line to pay, they will issue a new receipt then your order begins. Parting Thoughts: Yes, I wrote a novella about a place that serves fast food for an average cost of $8. This place encourages me to become a vegan. Don't go here.

Damn. It's not like any McDonalds are held up to high standards, but this one....yikes. The two stars is for the other lady, NOT the drive through one, who gave us our food. She was nice. Literally we were waiting by the drive-through speaker in dead silence to order for who knows how long, but a line was building up behind us while there was maybe one or two cars ahead of me when I got there. When we finally got someone to take our order she had a harsh, dead tone. We get it. It's fast-food, night-time, and you guys are probably understaffed like everyone else. But geez I accidentally said I wanted a "Vanilla iced LATTE" because the McDonald's where I live has them, and she just replied "We don't DO THAT here." Okay, sorry, but why not. I don't know ? Do the basic thing and simply ask if I meant the iced coffee? So then I asked for an "Iced-Coffee with vanilla" and she sharply said "We have a vanilla iced-coffee." like I was the idiot What. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE LOL ???? I had to bite back my tongue to not be sarcastic with her but now here I am writing this review. Again, yes we get this is McDonalds, and we get everyone hates their job there, but leave if you don't want to be there so bad.
