The location can't be beat. It was perfect walking distance to everything. The courtyard is so quaint. However, the room was so dirty! The shower was quite moldy, both the floors and grout. The room REALLY needed a sweeping/dusting/vacuum. It clearly had not been done in a very long time.I couldn't believe the state of the room for the price (~400 a night).

Very nice we had a great time ! The staff were all amazing , friendly and very helpful . Morning light breakfast was good and they have a complimentary afternoon happy hour very nice touch . The location is perfect walkable to everything . If you have not been to Charleston map out parking before you visit . French quarter has vey limited parking . It's a really pretty place I loved our stay .

We had a great experience staying here! We would have had a totally different vacation if we had stayed somewhere else because this location made our trip so perfect. We got a special "local" discount code for guests from South or North Carolina, so it was in our price range. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice, and my only complaint would be that the air conditioner was loud when it turned on. That's just a minor complaint, and it was hardly noticeable once we got to used to it. We enjoyed the breakfast and the cookies at night! The courtyard was very nice too. Overall, this is a charming place to stay.

Had a terrific two-night stay here in March. Beautiful historic atmosphere with a lovely outdoor common area for breakfast or relaxing. Our room was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the happy hour snacks and evening cookies, and all the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The location can't be beat--we walked everywhere we wanted to go. Small downsides: The room had no safe. The shower had no door, so water got out no matter how we angled the showerhead. The air conditioner in the room was fairly loud and it was tough to get it cool enough at night, probably because it was in the 50s outside. But overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely return.

We have not stayed here--we just always park here! It is an easy drive in and has self-serve code/app/text parking. It is safe here and is in the perfection location to walk EVERYWHERE. There are also video cameras in this area so us ladies always feel best parking here.

Cute quintessential Charleston stay! Loved the building and style! Our room was nice, it's an old building so keep that in mind. The front desk was super friendly. Best part about this hotel is the location!! Location Location Location!

Great location, great service! Musty smell, terrible HVAC, highway motel bathroom. Loved the location, its absolutely incredible and what sold my girlfriend and I. The service is very friendly and its got a cool hostel vibe, especially with breakfast in the morning and evening wine & cheese. The rooms, while renovated had a very musty smell. The bathroom felt very Bates Motel. Our HVAC definitely needed a new filter, the air quality was horrific to the point I frequently opened the back door and the front door to air out the room. Definitely would not stay here for more than a night or 2. The parking while only $20 is a few blocks away, its a hike to get your car.

The hotel is old and quaint. Clean and nicely done. Great location to see the old city. However, I won't stay here again. Upon arrival on Monday evening, the young woman at the desk was rude and impatient, it was an interruption of her viewing of her phone. She demanded my identification and interrupted any question I attempted to ask. She put a damper on the stay. You should also know that if you self park, the parking is 4 blocks away.

Amazing place to stay, it has a warm inviting lobby. The rooms were so comfortable, they had a fridge, a great TV, walk-in shower. If you need a snack or drinks there were machines right outside your room. They have the best breakfast every morning included. They have cheese and crackers and wine in the evening for the guests and Milk and cookies as well in the evening. Their checkout is noon which is usually something you must ask for but it's included that late. The sheets, pillows, s, and comforter were amazing. The best part was the staff David who works the breakfast ship is a great guy, easygoing, and always has a smile on his face. Alaina and Carlesse, I think I might have spelled that wrong were very helpful and wonderful to speak to and will help you with anything you may need. When we come back to SC we know where we will be staying. Thank you for making our trip amazing. Sincerely Darren and Daniella
