The venue was very clean and fun; great for a group wanting to chill in the sunshine. Food and drink isn't as good as the prices entail, but the venue is great as is!

Pool area, lockers, bar, and upstairs area was nice. Overall we had a nice experience here, but the service was really slow and the food was cold. We ordered beef tacos, mushroom tacos, whipped ricotta, and the salsa and guacamole appetizer. We enjoyed having a day pass here for $15/person, but I dont really see the appeal for membership personally since there wasnt that much amenity-wise while we visited.

Service: phenomenal! Reid was the best! My group of 12 girls felt very attended too. It was a wonderful day at the pool. The drinks kept flowing at the cabana and were served pool side. Food: Chips & Salsa Trio- refreshing! The pineapple salsa was sweet and tangy. If you run out of chips, they will give you more! Sliders & Fries- perfectly made! The sliders were well seasoned and the fries were wonderfully crispy. Steak Tacos- pass. It was a let down after having the sliders. It also attracted a lot of flies to the food, so it might not be the best option if you let it sit out for a while. On to my next adventure...

probably a cool place but got a drink for me and my date and it cost 46$ before tip. that was one cocktail (single pour) and a glass of red wine. lady's were nice but no place in chs should be 46$ for two drinks

This place is a joke. It's a small space of "paradise " in a commercial area near the highway and railroad yard. It's was sold to use from the Airbnb as a resort area to utilize. This is NOT for tourists! It's for local 30 somethings who want to snap photos for their INSTA. We went there thinking we would have lunch and swim. First the lunch was so expensive, poor service then we were told we could not use most of the beach chairs. They were reserved for full members. All the cabanas were rented out too. All the cabanas were girls getaway groups and bachelorette party. It was so annoying - not relaxing at all! The pool is small, the garden area is fake grass and there were work spaces. I don't know why the concierge did not explain the function of the facilities when I booked my day passes. It was a waste of time. Again this is not a welcoming tourist spot! Do NOT go!

Food and staff are great. Even the staff that has left, and the new staff that is there... everyone is tremendous. Great energy place, should be even better with the weather getting proper Charleston ‍

What a rough experience we just had there (it's a Thursday morning, by the way). The check in/welcome process was so horrific, the rest of the day was just subpar. The hostess (and then manager) embarrassed us by saying we couldn't bring our bags into the bathroom to change our outfits (this marketing that can leave your luggage is essentially false, you actually can't bring your luggage in if you planned to use it to get ready in the locker rooms). If I had known that, I wouldn't have had our entire group meet there after the airport. This place seemed trashy based on their lack of trust with their customers. Wouldn't recommend this place if it's your first stop to visiting Charleston, as they aren't welcoming.

Very very disappointed. The venue was recommended by our Airbnb Stay Duvet. We flew in early on Saturday so we thought let's go and lay by the pool. A daily pass is $30 per person. We were told could not bring luggage to the pool had to check them $10 per bag. We were the. given a tour of the premises only to learn there were no chairs available to lay by the pool Which at that time I mentioned there is no where to sit. The lady said yes we fill up fast no mention of a refund it was like oh well. Had a nice roof top bar only to learn no bartender on duty but could sit there if we wish to. The cafe where you can have coffee etc was closed due to someone getting a facial. Rather than allowing people to enter and taking their money it would have been nice to be told the pool was full. We paid $80 for the 2 of us to get a tour. Would never recommend this venue.

As a transplant to the Charleston area from the Northeast, the Wonderer has been my place to meet amazing people and escape my home office since I work remotely. They have literally everything that I need, Evoke is the coworking facility, a clubhouse to grab a morning coffee, after-work drink, or bites to eat. There are very cool spaces to work outdoors as well (especially in a cabana by the pool or the rooftop deck), yoga, sound bath, meditation, networking and social events, a gym and so much more! And you must have lunch or dinner in their restaurant, Bhava. It's some of the best food in town. This is where I find community. The people and space here provide me with a new and better standard of work-life-social balance. I save time and money by having everything I need and love in one place. If it weren't for The Wonderer and the amazing people who work here, I would feel lost. They have become the reason I can say that I can actually call Charleston my new home.

WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY. Absolute lies. Came here for my bachelorette and it was raining but we had already paid for a cabana. We were the only ones there and they first tried to tell us we had to pay double what the contract said luckily one of my bridesmaids is an attorney and marked out the line they had me sign with two different prices. then was told if we leave we would get refunded since everyone was getting refunded that day. Then they emailed us saying we can't get refunded and the employees that told us that had no authority. We tried to order coffee and they said we only have coffee available during the weekdays.... They were so rude minus one employee the bar tender who felt so bad. I will be reporting this place as there was miscommunication on their end and trying to make us pay more since apparently they employee that signed us up got fired was the story and the policy changed 2 days ago.
