10/10 recommend hiring Tobo Sushi to come to your house or your event and make your dinner. We were a large group of women and Tobo came to our beach house. Very thorough and they bring everything you need with them. The provided apps and sushi and you can add on hibachi if you'd like. Love that we had incredible sushi options made in home so we didn't have to drive anywhere. All in all it's about 2 hours of them prepping and rolling, etc but they truly do it all (cleanup included).

Tobo provides sushi all over town so you may have had it before and not even known it. I discovered them when they were doing the food for the original Local's in Mt P have have enjoyed their food ever since. Now they've got a permanent trailer set up at Ship's Wheel cidery in Park Circle. It's great to know you can get food all the time over here instead of checking the local food truck schedule and they even run specials. Tuesday is half price sushi and Wednesday is half price chicken hibachi. I stopped by for the hibachi recently and you can't beat this deal. I went inside and placed my order for a couple hibachi plates to-go at the Ship's Wheel counter and then tried some of their frozen ciders to cool off while we waited. They were taking a bunch of orders and it took about 20 mins for our order to come up. We sat on the patio and waited for our name to be called. You get a great size portion and there's a good mix of veggies, rice, and chicken. We added an order of gyoza as well and it made the perfect dinner for two at a very affordable price.

I had a great experience at Tobo last night! It had caught my eye before walking around Park Circle. It wasn't too busy on a Thursday, and our food was ready in about ten or fifteen minutes. We ordered edamame and the SC crunch roll. Both were really yummy, and the edamame was more crisp than I'm used to which made it feel fresher. With quick service and great food, you can't beat Tobo for a sushi fix.

My neighborhood features weekly food trucks and this was my first time ordering from Tobo Sushi . The experience was convenient and positive. I eat low carb and the cooks gladly modified my poke bowl and steak bowl to adhere to this . The quality of the steak wasn't that great - the flavor was bland but for the convenience and cost I would order again . The tuna and salmon poke bowl was delicious. They conveniently offer grab and go chopsticks as well as soy sauce packets. If you ever cross paths with Tobo Sushi Food Truck I definitely recommend giving them a try because you can't beat the convenience , service, quality and price of this dining experience.

I would've been sketched out by the idea of food truck sushi but it was recommended by friends so I gave it a try. The menu wasn't my favorite (a lot of fried stuff or cream cheese) but the sushi we ordered was really tasty. Would 100% do again. I kind of hated that they wanted you to order on the app initially because I thought it would take a while or be poor UX but it was so quick and simple... it wasn't clear to me though that they text you when the food is ready so I had to ask them what to expect after placing my order anyway.

This company is amazing. The owner worked at a bachelorette weekend I attended and for 9 girls he made so much sushi BY HIMSELF that we walked away with three takeout boxes. Incredibly prompt and professional. The sushi and appetizers were fresh and high quality and I'm still talking about it months later. I was blown away by how much food he made and how affordable it was divided among us. Hire him for your event! Presentation is eye-catching and the food is delicious and I can't say enough good things about my experience with this company

Man I was realllyy dying for sushi and then I saw that this food truck was in our hood today, so I opted out of cooking and waited impatiently for my husband to get home from work. Once he arrived, we grabbed our toddler and hopped on the golf cart and headed right there. Once there it was confusing cause there was only laminated menus on the ledge and people were everywhere, kind of hard to practice social distance when you have to go up and grab menus that everyone else is touching. Maybe have paper menus like others or if not, have a bottle of sanitizer out for after we touch to sign and/or order. I personally like when they have a menu online (which they don't) or have a big sign out. Anyways, we ended up ordering three rolls to split, cause the pics looked like they were huge! They weren't as big as I assumed. They smelled great and I couldn't wait to dig in! Once home I looked back at the pic I took of the menu and was surprised to see a lot of the ingredients were missing! And though it was alright, it certainly did not cure my sushi craving!! I loveeee a picture menu, but if you aren't going to represent and serve it exactly as shown, then I will more than likely be disappointed. We ordered the sexy roll, paradise roll and spicy tuna with massago roll. We could tell the sexy roll was the sexy roll but to have all of those ingredients and not be able to taste them all was a shame. And it was missing the caviar, couldn't tell if anything else cause it was little bits inside. Still this was the most flavorful out of the three. The other two did not appear to be anything like the menu shown and/or described. :/ I gave three stars cause the service and freshness but I still NEED my FIX Okay, I wasn't fond of the last order, in my personal opinion they had to much to offer, but this time I ordered their sushi burrito ... I ordered crab & shrimp without cream cheese, cause again another personal opinion, I don't feel like cream cheese belongs in sushi and I ordered it raw (not fried) and it was amaze ballllllzzzzz omg so good!! Get it!

I've seen the Tobo Sushi truck many times walking around park circle but finally decided to stop and try it! I love that you order inside Ships wheel- perfect to get sushi and a drink. We ordered and did wait about 20 minutes to get our food but we were in no rush. Everything was amazing. The Philly roll was probably our favorite because it was super flavorful with the cream cheese and smoked salmon but the crunch roll was a close second with the AMAZING sauce on top. It says spicy sauce on their Facebook menu but it tasted more like eel sauce to me, with sweetness that complimented the tempura shrimp wonderfully. The California and salmon roll were just classic, great quality rolls. We also loved the outside patio seating. Thanks Tobo for some of the best sushi we've had in Charleston!

Sushi burrito. You're welcome. Yes, I ordered the sushi burrito for dinner one night. It was huge and amazing. You can get it fried or cold. I went with cold, and filled with sushi and crab, among all of the other standard options that come inside of it. My only request for the future will be to hold the cilantro. Too strong for my taste buds in this sushi gem. Overall, a great experience for the first time, and will definitely be back for more the next time they're in my neighborhood.
