Still on a high from celebrating my friend's birthday at Champagne Restaurant & Lounge! Let me just say... a TIME was HAD! From the moment we walked in, the service was top tier. Nae was attentive, welcoming, and professional. We dove into their Wednesday $20 lamb chop meal (yes, you read that right--tender, juicy, and full of flavor), and their appetizers came out hot and seasoned to perfection. Plus, they offer 25% off all adult beverages until 7:30PM, Wednesday through Friday--and trust me, we took full advantage! The custom cocktails made by Tym were unique and SO good. All while vibing to smooth R&B that kept the mood just right. Grown, sexy, and chill. Went to Champagne for Sunday brunch. First issue we had was there was no one at the front door. It was 3 of us and we literally walked into the main dining area where there were only 2 tables occupied. We stood around waiting for someone to greet us, then we went to the restroom came back out still no one to greet us finally after approx. 10 min of being there someone came out. We had the shrimp and grits and the cornbread waffle , collards and fried fish plate. S & G also had the tiny scallops with 5-6 large shrimps and an absurd amount of grits. 3/5. The plate had pretty good greens but very small amount 4/5, the cornbread waffle taste ok 3/5 but very disproportional to the amount of greens. The fish...0/5. Greasy and overcooked. Based on service and food, I would not recommend for brunch. Other reviews for dinner have more positive feedback.

We were in Columbia for family weekend and stayed at the Hilton close by to this location. Having walked for miles each day we noticed Champagne during one of our outings. It seemed like a snooty place to check out but unfortunately we were disappointed. We sat at the bar and the setup just seemed off. The bar itself seemed out of place and was extremely dirty (dusty). Service was fine but they were out of two different elements to drinks we wanted, mint and limoncello. The drink we settled on was $15 for one and did not meet the expectations. Overall I can see the draw to come here but we won't be back.

Met some friends here for a pre-birthday dinner before night out on the town. No parking was a little hectic, which to be expected but I was able to locate a park right behind the establishment. Upon entering, there was not a hostess at the hostess stand. Wish me the check in process a little informal however I was seated within five minutes. The downstairs atmosphere is absolutely posh and cozy. Unfortunately, we were not able to experience the upstairs due to a private start the night out with margaritas, which were absolutely delicious for however, if you are person, you would absolutely love it, and it was quite boozy because I felt it. I ordered the stock oysters from my entrée one of my other friends ordered steak and asparagus, the other ordered the Hennessy fried chicken and sliders. I would give my oysters, a five out of 10 because when I think stuffed or Rockefeller oysters, I would like to have a little chart with them on them were still a little mushy to the bite because the bacon wasn't crunchy. my friend that ordered the steaks perfectly and was absolutely delicious. He liked it so much. He came a few nights later to try another meal my friend that ordered the Hennessy chicken thought that it was cooked to perfection. However, she was not a fan of the steam fantasies, but I thought they were delicious and she would have preferred a different cut of chicken. Though the chicken legs were flavorful, she would have preferred breast and a leg or thigh and leg. The friend that got the slider stated that they were delicious just a tad bit over-seasoned. All in all I really enjoy with the atmosphere and I'm and I am also planning to visit again with the entire establishment is open to the public bc the lamb chops are calling my name!

My bf and my friends surprised me with a dinner party at Champagne and it was so nice. Our reservation was at 8:30 and we got drinks and sat down. I got a mango lemon drop and it was so good. It was fruity but not too sweet and little tart. The wait for drinks and food took a really long time but we were patient with them because there were two bartenders and idk how the staff was looking the kitchen. We got the stuffed oysters and jumbo shells for appetizers and they were so good. They were creamy and a had a lot of flavor. I got the Cajun crawfish salmon with rice perloo and broccoli and the salmon was cooked perfectly and it paired perfectly with the shrimp and crawfish and rice. The broccoli added a nice crunch and texture but it lacked a little salt. But with the saltiness of the other food, it balanced it out. My bf got the lamb chops and it was cooked perfectly as well, super tender and good flavor. It was sweet from the honey and savory. My friend got the Alfredo and her pasta was really good too. It was Cajun but it could have been a little bit spicier but you could taste the kick in it. Overall we had a great experience.
