We had a nice stay at the hotel. We came for a long weekend to check out the zoo and museums. It is close to those which was nice. The big down side is that it is hard to enter and exit the hotel's parking lot. It is on a busy road that curves. The staff were nice and the breakfast buffet was great. The pool was ok and they do have a fitness room. The room was a great temperature, clean, and the bathroom was a good size. We had to request the pull out couch linens but it would have been nice if they were in the room. Some of the blankets were in rough shape but the bed was comfortable. Overall it was a perfect fit for our family and I would stay here again.

This was our first stay at a Staybridge Suites, and it was overall a great experience. Check-in was a breeze, and the property is well maintained and amazingly clean. Downtown Columbia can be a bit dicey in terms of crime, but the parking lot is brightly lit and safe. Our suite was spacious and clean. Since we were traveling with two kids, using the laundry room was necessary, and I was pleasantly surprised. The machines are free to use and work remarkably well, and you can buy individual laundry pods and dryer sheets at the front desk for $1 each. The gym is also clean, and the equipment is in excellent condition. I used the treadmill a few times during our four-day stay without any issues. My only concern was that the hotel is located in an awkward location, right off of 126, and turning left from Huger street can be a little tricky (but not impossible). It's a minor issue that is definitely outweighed by the amenities. We will definitely book here again!

There's no place like home unless you're at the Staybridge Suites in Columbia, SC. From the minute you walk through the front door to check-in the vibe and energy of the staff make it abundantly clear that the care and attention given to every guest isn't just about quality customer service but a genuine passion provide a top tier experience that is tailored to each guest and delivered with the feeling that you're more than a guest but part of the Staybridge family. Maintenance requests aren't treated like an inconvenience but are immediately addressed. Everything from the rooms to the pool to the gym to the laundry room are impeccably clean and well maintained. The breakfast was well curated and presented and the socials on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays were well thought out with food options that were rarely repeated. It was also a great opportunity to meet the staff who take turns hosting and serving drinks and provides a stress free way to end the day when traveling for work. I have stayed at many hotels and have never felt more at home than I did here. I travel with my service dog and he was so respected and loved by the staff which allowed me to feel to ease and able to truly feel at home here.

We were in and out pretty quickly so we didn't use a lot of the amenities (pool, gym, etc.). Our room was a spacious suite with 2 full beds and a pull out couch in the living room. The kitchen had a 2 burner stove and a full size refrigerator. It was well stocked with utensils, dishes, etc. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Check in/out was a breeze using the app. The complimentary breakfast was what you would expect. Decent quality, great variety. There was a yogurt bar, hot breakfast (omelette, sausage, casserole), muffins, cereal and fruit. The hotel does seem a bit dated but was clean! We would consider staying here again when in town.

Great location downtown. Check in was easy. Nice Christmas decorations up for the holidays. First room was 121 and could hear a screaming child as soon as we walked away from the front desk. Low and behold the screaming child was in room 119 next door. After about 10 minutes in the room...... the child got louder and the screaming didn't stop. We were also directly at the end so next to the stairwell. I went back to the check in desk to request to be moved as I could see a restless night ahead. She did move us to 521 where we had a peaceful rest. Room 121 was decorated with white cabinets,etc. Room 521 had all wood cabinets. Both very nice and clean. Heat worked well as it was 31 degrees outside. Overall good stay once we got settled in the second room. Front attendant could've been friendlier. Also, be aware of the comforts of your guests if you place them next to the screaming child you could hear from the front desk, inconsiderate at best. Also you will hear the train late at night and in the morning before 8am.

Due to repairs being made it home we had to stay here for two weeks. Everyone was amazing the entire staying! Amanda at the front desk is always helpful and greeting and Kiki and JB Always kept the dining area beautiful with delicious breakfast every morning. Another part to this hotel is that Monday through Wednesday they have social hour with light snacks wine and beer on tap.The housekeeping staff was truly amazing and always willing to assist. I can definitely see myself staying here again I recommended this property to friends family and coworkers.

My name is Meredith and my wife and I visited this Staybridge in Columbia, SC. This has been one of the best hotel customer service experiences we've ever had. Hanna, Carina, Mr. Lewis and Kiki and JB, all greeted us with friendly smiles, pleasantness, professionalism and extremely prompt amazing service! The ambiance and environment is very clean, peaceful and comforting. They ensured we had a super relaxing and homie stay, southern hospitality at its finest. The breakfast was absolutely fresh, delicious and scrumptious. Their dedication to excellent customer service and professionalism is second to none and reflects great credit upon themselves and the Staybridge brand. I'm so grateful have them in this community serving customers with excellence. My overall rating undoubtedly is 5 out of 5 stars without hesitating. Hanna, Carina, Mr. Lewis and Kiki and JB, all deserve a big raise and the biggest recognition/honorable mention for their amazing friendly service, attentiveness and professionalism. "Walking Dead" on the big screen at 8am durimg lobby breakfast? Seriously? This is why you need the TV Kill app or one like it. Turns off or on any tv. Other than that and the sea of little league kids - shouldn't that be over by now? - this place helped me survive this tour. Big suite with kitchen, L-shaped couch and space to spread out for once. Warning, there is no ice machine so start the ice maker in the freezer right away. And bring your own bar to go with the ice, they dont have one. Huge steal for the money, this joint. Clean and free laundry. And for some reason they have a gym. I don't know why. Raleigh next. I'm pretty hungover. Yelp keeps adding commentary about the length of this review as I write it. Mind your business, Yelp. There must be a Yelp page for Yelp. Fiends. I realized my phone was posting to a different Yelp acct so that's why I'm moving those reviews to this, the correct acc't. So when you see this same review below you understand. Since I posted this review, I left my ubiquitous white leather driving loafers behind in my room here. They say they never found them. Bull-croaky. Still giving them 5 stars. What housekeeper could stop themselves from shoes that gorgeous.
