Really fun time, and a very cozy space to grab a few drinks and get creative. The guided lessons are also very approachable and a fun way to get into the art if you're not sure what to do.

We hosted a retirement party last evening at Studio Cellar, and it was a huge success. The venue is perfect - big enough for a crowd of 150 or so, and the staff was incredible accommodating. Shane, who worked the bar, was one of my favorite new people, and he did everything with a smile and a hilarious wit. Would recommend this place over and over again!

We had a retirement party at Studio Cellar, and it was amazing. Shane is just awesome and totally accommodating, they had the place ready for us with the tables where they needed to be, it was a fun atmosphere, and Shane is a great bartender! I can't say enough how great that place is!

Shane was so much fun today! I highly recommend checking this place out! Reasonably priced and you don't have to bring alcohol since they have it there! Non alcoholic drinks are available for purchase as well.

I love this place! Anytime I'm looking to just get out and enjoy downtown, this is my first stop with my sisters or girlfriends. We pick our canvases and buy some drinks and enjoy. They have free style or you can check out their calendar and take a class. The staff is super friendly and will come around and give you tips even during your free styling. I will tell you I'm not that good but it is very therapeutic for me. The canvases go up to $26 a piece for the largest one and $11 for the smallest. They do put gratuity in the final price so do bring extra money. They have wine, beer, and other beverages and snacks for sell. A bottle is around $19. They provide aprons and all the paint and brushes you need. Their bathrooms are clean, bright and full of art! This is definitely a place to check out and do something different when you have a chance. This place is so chill that I'd even bring my children with me for them to paint as well.

Last night at Studio Cellar my sorority sisters and I were lead by Shane in painting a picture of Williams Brice stadium. 1. SHANE IS AMAZING. He was so helpful and kind and patient. 2. The studio is extremely well kept and clean. Will definitely be back!

What a fun night! They have guided classes most nights of the week for paintings that you can see on their website or you can just go and do your own painting on your own. If you do your own painting they have instructions on how to complete some of their paintings so you can have a guide if true freestyle sounds too daunting! We went with a group of 3 but this would also be a perfect sate night. They've got wine and local beers for some liquid courage with the paintbrush. My friends and I had an absolute blast with Chris painting Frida.

We had such a fun paint night here! A friend and I booked a black light paint night here. The place is huge for this type of class! There were three points set up with people demonstrating the painting we were doing so that was nice. However, you definitely should get closer to the person teaching the class because even the other demonstrators looked lost a few times on what we were doing next. There was also only one painting that was completed for reference. With such a large place, I think there should really be more completed paintings for reference, especially in a black light setting where some of the colors are difficult to see at a distance. The artist was super energetic, thought so it brightened up the mood and room. All in all it was a fun and great class. It was nice to be able to get a nice local brew while were were painting. I went with a River Rat brew. Will definitely do another class here.

This is the perfect spot to let your creative juices flow. Tons of space in here and (appropriately) well decorated to give you inspiration as you work on your masterpiece. They make set up really easy, grab an apron, pump your paint colors on your plate and go to your seat that's set up with your easel, brushes and water. The instructor guides you step by step on how to create the painting. I was a little worried about how I'd be able to recreate the Gervais Bridge but he was great about going slowly enough for everyone and coming around to answer individual questions and provide feedback. The finished product is on the wall so you can reference that the whole time you are painting. Everyone is encouraged to do their own unique version so at the end it was really fun to see everyone's personality expressed through their painting. Be sure you enjoy a glass of wine (yummy moscato) and also try the Blue Marlin appetizer menu. If in doubt go with the shrimp n grits, they melt in your mouth. I'll be back soon; thanks for a great first experience for our Yelp group!
