Our pizza was tasty and good quality.  The sauce had that nice tangy spiced right flavor that you find in the Northeast. The chicken strips were nicely fried and of a good size and the portion was large enough.   The dough/crust could have been a little thinner and cooked a bit longer to brown the bottom further.  My husband and I are from North Jersey with parents from The Bronx, so we are used to the style of pizza from those areas and Gino's was good enough to return to if we are in that part of the area.  We live in Surfside.  Clean restrooms.  Small place with several tables for eating in.  They also have fountain soda and Italian cookies.

When visiting family they recommended Gino's as their favorite pizza spot and overall they make a good pie. Sauce, cheese, seasoning was on point but the crust was a little thicker than I prefer for NY style. I feel like they make it thicker to appeal to a southern audience that prefers American chain style pizza.

We placed the order to go and got there 5 minutes before we were told to and everything was ready (which is a good thing) but the problem is they put my Dad's Italian sub on top of the oven with other to-go orders and the lettuce wilted.

Back in June when I dropped by, no customer service, I left. Today August 1st, I walked in at 4:30 pm and ordered a slice of regular cheese $3 and a slice of buffalo chicken $4. Ginos had only regular cheese pizza stuffs at the display and when customers order pizza with toppings, then they add topping. On my buffalo chicken slice, the buffalo sauce sat through the dough so made slice a bit soggy. Regular cheese slice had crisp at the bottom which reminded me of NYC pizza. It was delicious. Topping chicken itself texture was like a small dice rather than cut meat. Maybe some customers like this way better. I had no chewy chicken texture in mouth.
