It may be tricky to find, but it's worth the adventure! Once you arrive at the Starlight Inn, park navigate to the lobby. The lobby is like walking into a Wes Anderson movie set or a Palm Springs Slim Aarons party. Cross through the lobby to the back staircase. Go upstairs and you'll step back in time into the Burgundy Lounge. They have plentiful seating at the bar, standalone tables, and booths. There are spaces for both large and smaller parties. Keep in mind, this venue is an intimate spot with talented regulars for karaoke every Friday night. Drinks are very strong and you can purchase from a variety of chips. They welcome outside eats that are more hearty if that's your appetite. Remember to tip your bartenders as they bring such a fun event and experience to the Rivers Ave area.

What a neat vintage cocktail lounge in the North Charleston area! The service was fantastic and our bartender was so fun and personable. She made recommendations and even made our friend a drink from off the menu that she suggested. We ordered the cherry old fashioned and the night moves, which is basically a tequila espresso martini. Both were amazing and very unique. We had an absolute blast here and are looking forward to more evenings at the hidden lounge at starlight motel!

This has become one of my favorite bars! You walk into the lobby at Starlight Motor Inn (cool motel that's been renovated and now gives off Mad Men vibes) and head upstairs to The Burgundy Lounge. Everything has a dark and vintage feel to it and the drinks are perfect. The old fashioned is one of the best in town. I haven't come in for karaoke night, but there's usually live music and it's always amazing. I almost want to keep this place hidden because it feels like only the cool kids know about it and I don't want that to change, but as cool as this place is, the word is gonna get out.

The ONLY reason I am not giving it a 5 is because the decor is a little too worn and the AC was to high. I did find out all of the furnishings are original though, so hopefully they will get a little love. This place was AMAZING!! Mainly Brevard the crowd was SUPER, SUPER FUUUUUN! What a crazy mix too!!! There were young, old, black, white, straight, gay, singles, couples... you get it... EVERYONE!!! It was karaoke night and some people were really GREAT singers and others were not ;) Drinks were priced to move and the bar tender was friendly and enthusiastic!! I definitely recommend you check them out!!!

Cool place. Good prices. Happy Hour 5-8. We approve. Our bartender Kat was super helpful and a good time. The drink was their take on a Paloma. It used a grapefruit soda which was a little sweet. We will be back but trying a different drink next time. .

This place is always happening and hopping. It brings you back to the mod era. It makes you want to dance and get funky. Grooooooovy dude! Farrrr out! There is a grill outside for delicious grub. Snacks are also available! The jams are out of this world. The musicians are rocking! This is my 2nd time seeing live music at this venue. They have a variety of music genres that are the soundtrack. Even for the second time, it's a jam good time!
