Friendly service and complementary airport shuttle. Good location for North Charleston. Breckie looks good, but starts a bit late for the early riser. Waited but decided to go to the Grit Bowl down the street (amazingly good). Walls & doors are a bit thin, so late night arrivals are easily heard, sadly. Next time I'm bringing the white noise generator. But other than that, a nice stay. Full sized fridge, microwave, couch, and all the usual amenities. Pool, too.

Staff is friendly and accommodating. When we arrived, room smelled like cigarette smoke. Front desk member (I think his name was Ricardo) immediately sprayed odor-neutralizing liquid onto the floor. Amazed it worked fast. Room was comfortable, surprised it contained a kitchen with full fridge, kitchen sink, dishwasher, microwave and plates/glasses/silverware. A hotplate is available for check-out if you want to cook. it has a great location, near shopping, airport and Joint Base Charleston. We had a comfortable night there. But if I could, I would rate this hotel 4 1/2 stars. The room, although spacious, is a bit dated. Keys are magnetic, which have to be inserted in a slot to open the door. It could also use a refresh, since the carpet and walls have signs of normal wear and tear. During our stay, the lobby AC was inoperable. So they limited the breakfast items, I guess to limit generating heat in that area. I did appreciate their efforts to cool down the lobby, with many electric fans.

I checked in home2 suites a few days before my flight. Since checking Veronica went over and beyond to ensure I had a seamless relaxing stay. Veronica made her self valuable to all my questions and went out of her way to make sure my stay was nothing short of excellent. This property offers spacious rooms comfortable beds breakfast a snack shop and plenty of places to lounge . I would definitely recommend anyone in the area to stay in this property

My husband and I recently enjoyed 10 days at this Home2 Suites. All the staff are outstanding...from my conversations with Carmen prior to our arrival, Veronnnica's warm greeting at check-in, Kereen at the breakfast bar preparing veggie omelets/grits/fruit & toast items, and of course the warm & welcoming manager, Tom. This was our second trip there this year. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pool area relaxing (outdoors). Great place for an extended family get together. Very close to a shopping mall, groceries and excellent proximity to the North Charleston Convention Center/Coliseum to view comedy acts, hockey (Stingrays), Mannheim Steamrollers, and much more. Short ride to downtown Charleston.

You can keep your fancy destination hotels, I tell you what. Give me a place like HTS North Charleston for all my travel. Let's see: Big rooms, laid out thoughtfully, USB ports, actual desks to do work at, comfortable, quiet and extremely clean. Coffee machine, basic kitchen items (places, bowls, glasses, utensils, ect) all ready and handy. A working iron that's clean (trust me, this is rare). A solid breakfast. Not that you'd write a yelp review just for this, but, decent omelets, eggs, selection of cereal, fruit, coffee, juice, and a place to sit down and enjoy them. Speaking of place to enjoy, the front lounge area and outside patio area are awesome. Great place to wait for an uber, read, catch up on a call, or talk with people you're with. And the staff. 100% they get it right. Great you every morning (remembered my name!!). Everyone has a smile and is friendly. (the house keeping staff was humming some kind of happy tune - let me tell you what, it's the kind of thing that can make you feel nearish to home as possible). When I arrived, first thing they asked as not my name, not my reservation number, they asked "how are you doing, how is trip so far". Given Covid Staffing, and how busy the area was, there was every chance for them to miss something, but they got it down right, and it was seamless. And it's hard for a large company to manage to get it this right, but it's been my experience across a few Hilton places, that they do get it right. Especially the North Charleston location. Hands down, awesome service, awesome facility and perfect stay.

Everything went well online as I made my reservation and using the Ap I checked in and was suppose to get key at 7pm. However the virtual key didn't come and we checked in at hotel and went to a room that the door was left open and not cleaned and ready. They eventually made it right but there was no apology only defensive excuses as to why it happened. The hotel had such a strong smell that it gave me a headache. The comforter on bed that was tucked into a duvet cover was filthy so I slept with my robe as a cover. We will not return to this place. Very disappointed in Hilton's management of this hotel.

Let's start with the good. The rooms are extremely specious and the bed is comfy and so are the pillows but is it clean? My first day here I decided to take a shower. The shower curtains are white and my curtain had a huge black stains on it, it was noticeably dirty. I wish I didn't delete the picture but the manager did come the following day and changed it for a clean one. I was grateful for that. My first two nights I ended up having to contact the front desk to complain about my neighbor. The music was extremely loud past 10pm. I didn't complaint until it was 12:30 midnight and I had to call the front desk with the same complaints the following evening. They did good on handling that part. But I also noticed that the carpet wasn't cleaned up either. I requested this morning to have my room fully cleaned, I was added to the list for the room to be cleaned and when i arrived after work, nothing was cleaned at all. Now I went and requested my room to be cleaned up for tomorrow and I check out the following day. Will update review tomorrow.

Spent 3 nights. Check in and front desk staff have been professional and friendly. Our room cleanliness was impeccable. Morning breakfast buffet has something for everyone and is substantial. My only issue is soundproofing, you hear everything from adjoining rooms and those above. While most guests were quiet if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs as you will hear footsteps, conversations, closing doors, etc. overall a wonderfully managed and well cared for property.

So this is basically like staying in an mini apartment. I loved everything about the hotel. The check in was seamless. I work for a non profit and don't usually pay taxes, but they instantly explained that they don't take taxes off in South Carolina unless you have a government issued Credit Card. I'll be applying for one ASAP. Anyway, I've never stayed in a Home 2 suites, but it literally was the closest Hilton property to where my meetings would be that week and in very close proximity to the airport (7 min) The room was very clean and well lit. The hotel offered a pool which I never used, a gym, and a laundry room. They sell laundry detergents at the front desk. I really appreciated the staff and there high degree of customer service. They even went as far as to text me daily to make sure all my needs were met. And when I texted back they answered immediately!!! I will definitely use this hotel again in the future.

We use Home 2 suites For a lot of our travel we've stayed in Sacramento California Dallas Texas and here in Charleston. Staff is always friendly the front desk people really make you feel welcome. During times of this phirous and travel businesses down they've had to cut back on their hot breakfast but other than that it is a comfortable place to stay, Large comfy beds and couches, Nice big kitchen area complete with dishes, They go out of their way to make you feel like you're at home. If you're coming to Charleston South Carolina there close to the airport and close to a local mall
