We've been here twice and had such a tasty experience both times. If Moe's had a fresher, healthier baby, it would be Surcheros. They have so many great options for burrito wraps alone that it makes the combination of possibly endless. Everyone in our family eats here without complaint. I'd have to say that I'm partial to the grilled burrito and Surcheros sauce, but I'd try just about any combination for something tasty. While their chips leave something to be desired, they're pretty standard for a southwest takeout spot. Regardless, it's a tough balance to get them cooked completely and salted just right. It's the one change I'd love to see them make. Everything else is pretty on point. Quick service, friendly staff, and clean atmosphere. It's worth a fast dinner out.

If you're a cilantro and jalapeño lover, this place is the bee's knees. The ingredients you can select for your courses are delicious, and since cilantro and both fresh and pickled jalapeños are choices, you can load up to your heart's content. Chipotle has been dethroned!

After getting a parking spot right in front of the establishment. I was warmly greeted by manager upon arrival which I like in a restaurant it definitely sets the mood on how I'm going to feel about this place. She explained everything about how to order and what is good to try on their menu to try for dinner. Items I ordered were great, salsa was fresh tasting chips were crispy and light not too thick perfect for dipping. Seating area and restaurant was cleaned, felt nice and cool inside nice temperature. Food was not expensive experience I had was pleasant for quick dinner.

Ok; the chips are questionable. Like mine were either fried too long in the oil or stale. They should not be able to bend without breaking. That was super off putting. I experienced that when I had the nachos, so j tried the burrito. The burrito is way better than chipotle. Way more customizable options and you can get it grilled. Would definitely go back for the burritos. There's a salsa bar and the worker was super efficient and friendly.

While visiting my sister at Fort Jackson, I was on my own for lunch, and remembered I saw a commercial for this establishment on tv. Decided to try it, and so glad I did. Food is much fresher than Chipotle, and the lunch deal includes your entree, chips and a drink for $15. I got a chicken bowl, chips and a drink. Plenty of seating, both booths and tables, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back again!

Surcheros is a chipotle-style spot that features a fresh take on the Tex-Mex that you really need to check out. They are a fast-casual spot (think Chipotle) where you walk in and order your food. The food is made right in front of you as you order so you know it's fresh! They have all the standard fixes with a few twists. One major twist that's unique to this spot is they will grill the veggies in their signature vinaigrette before they throw it on your meal. I also tried their queso and chips and I have to say they got some awesome queso and salsa. Price wise they are in line with what you'd expect. I ordered their Loaded Chicken Bowl with chips queso and a water cup for around $15. My bowl had black beans, southwest rice, chicken, grilled corn, jalapeños, and their chipotle ranch. The restaurant itself is cozy, and clean, and happens to be located in the plaza next to Lowes Foods on Forest Drive. I really dig this spot and think it's a great addition to the food scene. I plan on returning any time I want that Chipotle feel but I want a bit more for my money.

I had a good experience here. I heard it was there grand opening and I was in the area, so I decided to try them out. The star of the show for me, was the orange drink. It has cardamom, tumeric, and something else....see photo. They don't have meat alternatives, at least not yet... but the nice lady who prepared my meal suggested corn, spinach, mushrooms, peppers and onions, and it was one of the best veggie Quesadillas I've had in a long time. I opted for a kids meal because I was playing it safe incase I didn't like it. But since they checked out to be alright, I would visit here again and get an adult sized meal. I have no problem with the service or ambiance. Nice staff, who made great suggestions, and the food was great. Thank you all!!!

First time here and it was really good! For $12 you get your pick of burrito, rice bowl, nachos, quesadillas, taco bowl and it comes with the chips and salsa you choose from the bar. I got the chicken rice bowl and added grilled veggies which they cook custom on the grill with their veggie vinegarette. I will say I prefer my chips hot and fresh and they could have used more salt. Their chipotle ranch sauce was the bomb! I didn't even need salsa for my bowl. I also tried their house made drink and both of them were SO good! One was orange, turmeric and cardamom. The other had strawberry in it but I can't remember all of it lol. It is similar to chipotle with some differences. It was good though! I'll be back again.
