Hands down, the best al pastor tacos in Columbia. The spot has a cool vibe and solid service. Definitely a go-to when I want Mexican food done right.

I keep coming here because the food, staff, and ambience are amazing. The staff is very friendly and attentive. They were knowledgeable about their menu items and had great recommendations. The location is always clean. There is a bar with a variety of drinks. I got some Agua de Jamaica, and it was very tasty. I had their enchilada plate, which was made fresh. It was good, but not pictured is a plate of Tacos Dorados de Pollo, and I wish I could have eaten those first because by the time I got to them I was too full to keep eating them but the taste was so delicious. Tacos are always good, and their burritos are delicious. I'm updating the pictures because pricing has gone up a little and the menu appears to be a little more expanded. Overall great food, and I will continue to come back with friends and family.

Food was salty.. I had a chicken quesadilla and it was overcooked and salty . English not that good so it was hard to order my food. I got a chicken quesadilla and it came with rice and beans and somehow I got charged 23 bucks.. yikes

Recently, I had the chance to eat at Casa Oaxaca with my family; we had an good time. Casa Oaxaca is a little hole in the wall Mexican restaurant with a bar, and is located in a shopping center in West Columbia; they offer dine in or you can pick up your food. The restaurant has fantastic decor and they also have Mexican music playing in the restaurant. The place was also clean. The prices are affordable and reasonable. When you sit down your waiter gives you all different kinds of salsa to use, which is really nice and chips for you to eat at are at no extra charge. I order the chicken fajitas for 2 and the rest of my family order the same thing as well. Some of the issues I had tonight were that our waiter didn't come to the table a lot and it was hard to find them when we needed him. Also our dinner took a long time, about 45 min, which to me is a long time. The fajitas came with a ton of chicken which was nice. The sides were sour cream, lettuce, beans, and one tomato. The fajitas don't come with rice unless you get the more expensive ones, which at every other Mexican restaurant I have been to they served rice with fajitas. It was nice to try a new place tonight, but I am not sure if I will come back though.

Tried to eat at Ruby Tuesdays... server ghosted me so I walked out and found Casa Oaxaca Mexican Restaurant nearby. What a wonderful find. I asked my server for a recommendation and she suggested her favorite... some big meaty sandwich. It was supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! The feel of the place as soon as I walked in led me to believe I was going to be in for some real good stuff! Thanks for a great meal!

I love soup and thought I would try this, but I didn't like it. The is just broth, shrimp, & fish. No vegetables, no rice. It was boring! SHRIMP Now, I am biased, I think because I don't like whole, head on, in the shell shrimp in a soup because it's really messy to peel them and put them back in. But they were large and there were about 8 of the in the soup. THE FISH. There were 2 large pieces of bone in Tilapia steaks that had been fried before dropping them in the soup. I like bone bone in fish, but the soup defeats the purpose of frying that skin. I did my best to debone the fish and put the meat back in. But then it was still just meat and broth. So I ended up asking for a side of rice and added that. That improved the soup greatly, but while I ended up taking most of it back home, I will probably throw it out. Adding the fish back in jus made it too fishy for me. I'll stick with my favorite chicken soup, because that's amazing!

Casa Oaxaca is a post roller derby practice tradition in my family. It's my 12 year old derby playing Daughter's favorite place in town. She gets the Tacos Supremas. I alternate between the Carne Asada and Chorizo Tacos. All very delicious. You really can't go wrong with any of the tacos. Oddly, my favorite thing there is free, this place has the best chips and salsa in Columbia and it's not close. Extremely fresh tomato salsa with onion, garlic, cilantro and lime served with warm chips. The restaurant is plan and in a strip mall that's being remodeled. Don't let the ambiance fool you, the food is really great and the menu is really impressive. All the servers we've had have been great. My one complaint is it's closed on Wednesdays but I understand they want to take a night off. This place is a hidden gem in West Columbia.

This is probably the best Mexican food I've had since I left Las Vegas. Just a little place in a strip mall but don't let that fool you. My only complaints are they don't have ice tea or Dr. Pepper. I also prefer cholula hot sauce. I will be a regular at this place!!!

My husband & I were just passing through & find this hidden gem. The food was excellent. Authentic tlayudas with excellent flavor. This is one of the best restaurants I've been too in a long time!! Te felicito!!
