So, we were visiting from Southern California. My brother lives in San Diego near Little Saigon. We've both had some amazing pho. This was as good as any place we've had it!! The steak was excellent, but I. Ant hype the fried chicken with special sauce enough. SO GOOD!!! You have to get it with their house sauce. Great service and ambiance. Very chill. We will definitely return when we come back.

1/2 - My New Go-To Pho Spot in Columbia! Pho Bun Me absolutely impressed me from start to finish. I tried the Bao and the Beef Pho, and both dishes were fantastic. The Bao was large, flavorful, and perfectly balanced -- satisfying yet surprisingly light. The Beef Pho was the star of the show though -- the broth was rich and deeply flavorful, and the large portion was loaded with tender beef and plenty of noodles. Every bite felt comforting and authentic. The ambience was another highlight. Although it's a casual dining spot, the interior feels elevated and thoughtfully designed, while the exterior gives off a true Vietnamese street-side vibe. It's the perfect blend of cozy and classy. The service was just as impressive. The lovely ladies running the place were incredibly kind, attentive, and always smiling. They went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect -- genuinely appreciative and welcoming throughout my visit. All in all, Pho Bun Me has quickly become my new go-to for pho in Columbia, SC, and the surrounding area. Great food, great atmosphere, and even better service. 4.5/5 -- highly recommend!

I went with my family and the place was very quiet, which made the atmosphere a bit awkward. The pho was solid and flavorful and I really liked the iced coffee with condensed milk. The Thai tea was just average. I'm not usually a fan of banh mi and theirs definitely did not change my mind. The menu is small, so your options are limited, but the pho is worth trying.

Decided to try this new restaurant for lunch and it did not disappoint! The establishment was extremely clean and welcoming. Great parking as well. We were greeted immediately and the food came out fairly fast. The pho was phenomenal with a nice clean broth that had depth in flavor! We also tried the traditional egg rolls and they were amazing! We will definitely be back!

Update since our last visit. The first few times we ate here and we really enjoyed it all around. The food, ambiance and service were all good, with the food being great! But we visited today and had a very different experience. I ordered the #5 bahn mi and bubble tea and my husband had the beef pho and iced coffee. In short, our waitress was flat out unfriendly, and unavailable half the time. The lady who either owned or managed it was friendly enough but when my husband we had an issue with his food she was hesitant to resolve it, didn't apologize and we thought maybe we'd get some kind of small discount for the huge inconvenience but she didn't offer that either. My boba was mushy. The food was still tasty but definitely felt like lesser quality than previous visits and my sandwich was skimpy on toppings. The restaurant was clean enough but very cluttered which made it feel unkempt. And the owner (managers?) children are almost always there and being loud and disruptive. I was quite sad by this huge change from our previous experiences and I normally would have given them a pass as I know that things happen sometimes. But this seemed like maybe it's their new standard. And all of that to say. It wasn't a great experience, and for $60 for soup, a sandwich a coffee and a bubble tea, we expect a bit better. So if you haven't tried this place yet, maybe get takeout because the food is good but right now everything else is lacking. I'm ending with my husbands issue mostly for the owners to see but not necessarily pertinent to what most people look for in a review. My husband ordered the beef pho with no cilantro and when he went to add black pepper, the lid fell off into his soup and dumped half the bottle with it. When we brought it to a waitresses attention (ours was nowhere to be found) she seemed hesitant to replace it (?) but did so without argument. The man who brought his replacement didn't speak English so it was a bit of a hassle to get someone's attention because once again our waitress was nowhere to be found but when we finally got the attention of the lady (not our waitress) who ordered the replacement we had to tell her that they left off the onions when he got the replacement soup. When she FINALLY brought out the onions they were the wrong kind, but by this point I was almost halfway through my sandwich and my poor husband still hadn't been able to enjoy a single of his soup so he just ate it anyway.

I was excited to try this place but left dissappointed. This is a large building that used to be a Chinese buffet and is now Pho Bun MI. Pet me just say that most people dining here were eating Pho and they seemed pleased but we did not. First, spring rolls...looked great on the menu but when they arrived, they were wrapped in saran wrap and tasted pre-made, rubbery and slightly old. Not a good presentation...but the peanut sauce that came with them was excellent...and I don't even LIKE peanut sauce. Wish they had spices dipping sauce because they were just bland. Same for the Chicken Bun Mi Sanwich. The chicken was cold and shredded chicken and it lacked the flavor of a bun mi. The bread was slightly stale and crumbly as well. My husband chose an entree and was disappointed as well. It just lacked flavor. He said the cold coffee was good but the passionfruit tea had only black boba. They need some flavored boba to add. The space is been so seems impersonal and not "cozy" by any means....although it is sparkling clean. If I do try it again ...I guess I will order Pho because everyone else was getting that and it looked good.

Went for a quick lunch. The combination pho was amazing! Lots of noodles and a lot of beef. The soup was hot and the toppings were cold. The service was great. Highly recommend.

We were visiting the area from Charlotte today. Arrived in between lunch and dinner, but closer to dinner. We ordered two chicken pho soups and an order of chicken wings. Everything was hot and fresh. The restaurant was mostly dead when we got there. Food was served very quickly and customer service was good. Would recommend if you are in the area.

Very clean restaurant, clean bathrooms. Waitress was outstanding very friendly helped my husband pick out his food, which was delicious. He got the Vietnamese, grilled pork and rice Noodles, came with an extra sauce on the side was wonderful. Used it even on the sandwich. The traditional eggrolls were very good as well. Cannot say enough about how great this place was we'll be going back.
