We ordered online so we did a cash tip.. to our surprise when we got the receipt there was this little note. This is extremely unprofessional and not appreciated. The food was only started when we got there and wasn't finished which was fine until seeing this and knowing we had a cash tip. Please hire more professional people or at least less ignorant. Maybe do a training class on appropriate behavior. I tried to call but of course speaking to someone isn't an option so here I am. Will not be back at the location. Broad river is better than this.

The food was good and our waiter Austin was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and the bathrooms were clean. Nice place for a quick stop to eat some breakfast for dinner.

This was a quick in and out. I ordered an all star breakfast and extra pancake over the phone. It was ready when I arrived. Checkout was quick and the cashier even wished me a good day. Which stuck with me because no one in any Waffle House I've been in has ever done that. I will say that before I ordered over the phone I went on the website to figure out what meal I wanted and I think that waffle house should allow for online ordering.

Another patron threatened to stab me while I was checking out tonight paying for my Togo order. The Waffle House staff did very little to intervene besides one tall gentleman who worked there, most of them harassed me and one even said he should've let him beat me up. I tried calling back later and asking for a manger to which I was told several things before I was hung up on. So I called back saying if they wouldn't give me a managers name I would take legal action. Then they hung up on me. So Waffle House, I hope this gets your attention because what happened tonight is not okay and I do, indeed, plan on taking legal action :)

If 0 Stars was a thing I'd absolutely leave it. We had Lori and she was absolutely the worst waitress ever. We sat down and ordered our drinks. We got all of our food before we ever got our drinks. We waited 30 minutes for drinks and that's supposed to the the first thing you get. She had 2 tables. Us and someone else. I asked 4 times for our drinks and then watched her get them and they just say there for 10 mins before our friend had to get up and walk to her. And when he needed a refill he had to ask the other waiter instead because she wouldn't stay on her side of the restaurant doing her tables. She stayed on the other side away from all her tables. The food was all wrong and she even got our drinks wrong. It would've been faster if we made it ourselves. The whole point of going out at 1 am was so we didn't have to cook.

Will never go back. Such a disappointment. I ordered the All Star Special. Then I notice fruit flies on the table where it hadn't been cleaned. I got the waffle almost immediately, but took at least 10 more minutes for the rest of the breakfast to come -- waffle was stone cold. The whole point of ordering eggs and waffles is to eat them together. I ordered the eggs over easy. The bottom of the eggs were RAW! All goopy clear raw egg white. And then still had to wait for the biscuit. I should have sent the eggs back but didn't want to wait another 10 minutes for everything else to get cold. I left most of the food uneaten, completely lost my appetite. This is too bad, the server was very nice. She was doing her best.

This is my favorite Waffle House in Columbia. Why? Because the people are phenomenal! I go almost every Sunday morning and GiGi, one of the waitresses, always greets with a smile and remembers my name. They all seem like a family, cracking jokes and talking life together and with the customers. The food is so consistent and fast and will always have you coming back for more! If you go to any Waffle House in the area, try this one. If the food doesn't bring you back, the people most definitely will!

Had a desire for Waffle House on Sunday morning, September 26. My sister and I had been to a funeral in Charleston and was on our way home. Stopped in this location at Sunset and sat at a table right by the kitchen. We were looking at a menu. Sat there about 5 minutes and it appeared we were being purposely ignored. Waiters and waitresses kept walking by our table. Then a family of 5 came in and no sooner than they sat down, a waitress ran over and took their order, continuing to ignore us, as we had been in there about 8 minutes at this time. She yells out their order and begins to get their drinks. A waiter goes to the table next to us and asks if they need anything. After it was pretty obvious they weren't going to wait on us, we got up and left. Did we just piss someone off because we broke some unwritten rule? I'll avoid this place next time I'm through there.

Came to this location right by Lexington Hospital and by far had our best Waffle House experience so far. The customer service was wonderful, food came out hot and quick, and our waitress (totally forgot her name which is my fault) was an absolute pleasure! Will definitely return to this location.
