Date of visit: March 15, 2025 A smaller, neighborhood theatre that has some updates but is lacking in others, we visited the AMC Antioch 8 during a recent visit to Nashville. There were no kiosks that I could see and Jacob helped us at the box office. He was very friendly and got us on our way into the movie as quickly as possible. I was pleased to see that the theatre featured leather recliners, but less pleased when I found out that my seat didn't work... Patrons in the theatre respected the Movie Theatre Code and while bummed about the non-functioning seat, it was still better than the AMC back home. But another disappointment came in the form of no working soap dispenser in the restroom--though a large bottle of hand sanitizer was made available in lieu of the preferred method of cleansing your hands after using the restroom.

1st time back to this theater in quite awhile and I was pleasantly surprised. Ok, they have a bar - and while I did not order from there it was quite tempting. The concession stand was well stocked and had friendly employees. Theatre was spacious, reclining chairs and wait- heated seats. Bless my heart, I loved it. But the most satisfying thing was going to the restroom and it was Clean--- nothing stinky on the floor and they had hand soap and towels. Knock me out of the water.

I used to frequent this theater years ago. I started going again recently because of the convenience. Most things have been fine. However, 4/4 of the recent times I've gone here the film just stopped playing and we had to wait 15-30 mins for it to be put back on & sped to the place we left off. The first 1-2 times I was giving the benefit of the doubt, but every time? Not sure I'll be back or recommend it. Get it together.

Honestly, this theater is affordable, the staff is kind, and we've never had any issues with the theater itself. The snacks are tasty and the heated, recliner seats are great.

I saw my fourth and final movie while in Nashville at this AMC. It wasn't the closest one from my hotel. It took roughly 18 minutes to drive over here. I wanted to see Minions: The Rise of Gru. It had a matinee that seemed perfect. I paid for my ticket through the AMC app and then drove here. There was lots of parking in the lot. I parked and went in. If you do need to buy a ticket, you do it at the concession stand. I bought a small popcorn and a small fountain drink. The man there was nice. I paid with a credit card. I got my popcorn and filled my cup with Diet Barq's orange. It tasted like a creamsicle. The popcorn was yummy. There is a mini flight of steps to get to the theatres. I don't recall whether there's a ramp for those who need it. I got to my auditorium. There were two staff members cleaning the seats. They had flipped a couple of seats over to vacuum. It was interesting. Row letters are on the carpet. The seats are clearly numbered, heat up, and recline. The leather on them was weathered, so they've been there for a while. I rate this AMC lower than the other three theatres (both Regal and AMC) that I had frequented while in Nashville. There was a woman with a couple of children seated in the last row. There were four teenagers closer to the screen. There was me in the middle of all of them. The time that the movie was to start, 1:30 pm, came and went. We actually waited closer to 45 minutes for something to show on the screen, such as a trailer or a bad ad. Nothing. Here's a first for me. I left my drink and popcorn near my seat, and went to the concession stand. I let a man there know that the movie hadn't started and that we've been waiting for 45 minutes. He looked concerned and said that he'd look into it. Someone forgot to press play. Seriously? Here's the kicker. As soon as I returned to my seat, the movie started. We bypassed the trailers and ads, and went straight into movie mode. The movie ended fairly close to when it should have with the typical fluff shown before it. Other than that ridiculousness, I enjoyed watching this flick. It was entertaining and enjoyable. I used the washroom before I left. It was clean and fine. Perhaps this place is understaffed, but forgetting to start a movie in a theatre isn't the best first impression that I got. Hopefully, it was a one-time thing. (336)

Pretty good movie theater for what it's worth! The seats are extremely comfortable and have automatic reclining and even a heated seat option! The sound is excellent during the movie. Seats are tiered so you're not looking at someone's head in the way of the screen. I think the theater could improve in their snacks. Currently snack offerings are few. Popcorn is decent but I think it's missing a lot more of that movie theater butter that is familiar.

Honestly, the worst theatre I've ever been to...walked out before the movie even started. Bathrooms were disgusting, they had no popcorn unless you "preordered it", and all the employees were standing in the hallway just chatting away instead of doing any of their jobs. Last time I'll be going to this location, save your time and go to Franklin :)

Movie was great, the accessible headset worked just perfectly. Staff was great, unfortunately, my chair didn't work, but it was still comfy!

This location is the closest to us. We just moved from Texas to Tennessee and we are used to Cinemark Theatres. As first time AMC visitors, we were greeted by a welcoming staff member. She explained the multiple tier memberships available and other benefits that come with the theatre. If you buy the tickets in the theatre, you only pay the ticket price. Buying it online requires an online fee unless you subscribe to a premium plan. The premium plan allows us to skip the long line by having a dedicated line for premium members. It was unnecessary today, as the theatre wasn't packed. My wife ordered a pizza and it was made to order. Our popcorn was fresh and crispy. The soda options are numerous because they are the kind where you mix syrups as you please. The seats are new, reclinable, and heated. Overall, great first experience.
