I had met one of the elite stylists (Sarah M) at a private event in Nashville back in November of 2024 where S&S was setup offering free neck trims & handing out business cards. She was incredibly nice & the neck shave was superb. One of my best friends frequents the Franklin location & talked up the services so I had considered going & getting a 15 year to try it out. Luckily, I got a $100 certificate for Christmas so I had to use it & I finally made it down to the Brentwood location to have Sarah give me the full experience. The scalp massage & facial were incredibly relaxing & Sarah did a great job on my cut. I told her to do whatever she thought would look good & she didn't disappoint at all. I booked another 15 year before I left so I have something to look forward to in the coming months regarding my hair & skin care. Glad they prioritize a great customer experience & employee talented stylists. I had an included whiskey before my cut which was nice. The fully stocked bar & membership options are probably ideal for locals who can afford it & have the time to utilize them. I imagine they do quite well in the area they are in.

Found the place looking on Yelp for a beer bar. Very Cool place. Girl behind the bar knew her beers and bourbons. Very engaging. I love the idea with the barbershop in the back!

There are a couple of branches I have tried. Interesting concept but in the end, it's just a gimmick to bring people in to a place Just a cut above a mall- based stylist (no pun intended). Quite variable. I've gotten one of the best cuts in recent past at the McEwen branch and 100% one of the worse cuts ever at the Brentwood branch.

The evolution of men's haircuts. I've been coming here for over a year and a half and every visit is extraordinary. Shannon (my go to stylist) is amazing and does a fantastic job. A great classic haircut with a wash and hot towel (other services such as beard trimmings are available). Don't forget to stay for the included drink after. Ryan and Karrah do an amazing job behind the bar. Ryan's knowledge of whiskey and bourbon is legendary. Whether you're coming in for a haircut or stopping by for an after work drink, Scissors and Scotch has you covered and I would highly recommend stopping by if you are interested.

This is a great concept that is executed to perfection. Adult beverages in the cool bar up front, great haircuts in the back room. And a drink is included with your haircut! I arrived a little early, so I had a Scotch while I was waiting. Right on time, I was then taken to the back room and got a great haircut from Sarah M. She did a fantastic job on my hair and was super friendly. The location is clean and has a great upscale yet chill vibe. A big TV behind the bar, so you can watch sports or something. The place is called Scissors & Scotch, so of course they have Scotch. But there are also a variety of other liquors to choose from, as well as cocktails, beer, and wine. It is a "real" bar, so you aren't limited to the drink included with your haircut. You can hang around after and have another if you'd like. Next time I will save my complimentary drink for after my haircut so I can just chill for a bit afterward. I will absolutely be back, and look forward to them opening a new location in Franklin in early 2022 as well!

Love this place! Hubby gets a premium haircut and I get to sit in peace for 30 minutes and chat with the bartender! Love it and live the ambiance. Very friendly atmosphere.

Convinced now that their "Free" haircuts are a complete crap shoot, twice now I have made an appointment and had to sit 15 minutes plus after the time I booked. Won't be coming back. May the odds be in your favor to have a decent experience. Review edit. As a previous business owner I have a lot of appreciation for the Owner replying back to my review. I truly hope they do review their current system.

I've now been to this 'BAR'ber twice and can't see myself going anywhere else. I recommend it to everyone I know (in Nashville and otherwise). At this location I have had my haircut by both Sarah & Sarah. Both amazing! The ability to join a membership is great because it not only gives you the option for more haircuts at a lower price but helps keep you accountable to actually get a haircut, which I am bad about. And don't worry, if you miss a membership haircut, you just gain a credit. No 'use it or lose it' mentality. If getting a million dollar haircut wasn't enough, each cut comes with a craft cocktail or beer (or coffee for our NA peeps, they got you covered as well). 10/10 would recommend. Again Scissors & Scotch. Sarah & Sarah.
