Overall: My first time having Whataburger...! Just wasn't really my preference, especially at a pricepoint of about $11-13 per meal. I got the Patty Melt & Strawberry Shake, and I also tried their Raspberry Refresher. The drinks were pretty good (the shake was a little too sweet). I ate indoors but had to park across, as the parking situation + drive through seemed really congested. Service: Pretty quick when I came in to eat -- staff was very nice and walking around with the sauces as well. Ambience: Quirky, bright, and orange! Nice and clean inside.

Ok, I've been waiting about 3 months to finally be able to eat at this brand new Whataburger in Brentwood, TN. I noticed it when in town for a monthly visit, and only because Brentwood traffic made it impossible for me to get where I needed, so I had to drive out of my way to get there. And there it was. That WHATABURGER sign in the front yard, only to find that it wasn't open yet. So I waited. FINALLY the day came and I was able to visit. Yes, I could have visited the previous month, but the parking lot basically said "We're full. Try again later". I tend to wait until after the "A New Restaurant Has Opened" phase dies down so I don't need to battle a crowd. The very first thing I noticed: This Is A Small Whataburger. I think the kitchen-to-dining-room ratio is about 2 to 1. Seriously. 2/3 of the building is kitchen/storage, and the front 1/3 is dining room and restrooms. As I recall there are less than 10 tables in the dining area. There are two kiosks for ordering and a counter with two registers. I visited on Monday and Wednesday of this week. Monday was a bit busier, but I had no problems. On Monday I had the Jalapeño Cheese Burger meal and on Wednesday I had the Pico de Gallo burger. In both cases I was able to order at the counter (I despise fast food ordering kiosks) relatively quickly. Less than five minutes after entering I had my drink cup and waited for my food. The person who took my order was friendly and courteous and was able to answer any questions. For as short a time as this location has been open it's nice to see that the staff has the product information down. The kitchen is pretty well hidden away from customer view in this location. I'm pretty sure that's because of the way the existing building was when Whataburger took over. Less than 10 minutes after ordering my food arrived. It was hot and accurate. Whataburger's Spicy Ketchup is exactly what their fries need. The fries aren't remarkable, but the Spicy Ketchup gives it just what it needs. The (very small) dining room was relatively clean, but on both visits the trash bins were could have used some attention. On both visits I didn't see any urgency to clean up tables when they became unoccupied. I'm glad I'll be able to get Whataburger on my monthly visit to Brentwood. I'm sure that, once it gets on its feet, this Whataburger will be awesome.

Inspection Date: November 06, 2025 Inspection Score: 77 Embargoed Food: 3 lbs A routine health inspection conducted at the Brentwood Whataburger location on November 6, 2025, resulted in a score of 77, marking a significant decline from the establishment's perfect 100 score achieved during a follow-up inspection in May 2025. The inspection identified eight violations, including critical temperature control issues that led to 3 pounds of food being embargoed. Violations Found The inspection identified a lack of Active Managerial Control of food systems at the establishment. An employee was observed changing gloves without washing hands. Raw chicken in a pan was improperly stored on top of seasoning salt and single service items. The three-compartment sink was not set up for use. An unlabeled white powder was found stored in a bin. Several flies were present in the kitchen area. A bowl without a handle was being used as a scoop in the white powder. Critical Violations Temperature control violations were documented for multiple food items. Sausage was found at 124°F during hot holding, below the required safe temperature. Tomatoes were held at 60°F in the prep cooler, exceeding the maximum cold holding temperature of 41°F. These temperature violations posed food safety risks requiring immediate correction.

Last night we popped in after a concert. We placed our order on the kiosk for a burger, fries, onion rings, and a Dr Pepper shake. There were at least 4 employees working and they were mostly in the back room. The lobby was a little busy with people just waiting around and complaining about it taking so long. After nearly 30minutes, they called our order number. And upon inspection, we were missing the fries! Luckily, we hadn't left yet and we didn't have to wait more than a couple more minutes for them. Based on this experience, I won't be returning.

Need to remove 24 hours off of the windows and online. They're not open until 6am that I've been told twice at the drive thru even though people are working. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I don't understand waiting 20 minutes for a simple order then when we get the food it is cold. I thought the food was cooked to order. Don't know how they will stay open with this level of poor service.

Waited 30 minutes in the drive thru. The 8 cars behind me finally just drove away. Got home and found that several items I had paid for were not in the bag. Ridiculous experience which I will not repeat. If this is a franchise, then corporate should take it away. If a company store then management should be fired. I would give a negative star if I could
