THE BISCUITS are fantastic, and they give you some with three different jams complimentary when you sit down, which was an unexpected surprise. Overall, the food is solid, with a typical Southern fare and an extensive menu. My husband and I each had the pulled pork omelette, which was unique and very good. We would both order it again but probably share one because it was huge. Hashbrown casserole was one of the best I've ever had. Biscuit sandwiches and fried chicken were also good.  It was busy on a Saturday morning, which was to be expected. We waited about 50 minutes for a table of four, but we walked around the quaint shops around the restaurant, and the time went by quickly. Lots of cute souvenirs and food gifts in the shops. The one store has excellent coffee selections, some of which include alcohol. The only negative is that the service was a little slow because they were busy. We had to ask for coffee and water refills and extra napkins, but our waitress was very friendly. You will not leave hungry!

Biscuits and preserves were phenomenal. The special was brisket. So much food. At 28 bucks, you can definitely take some home and eat later. Wonderfully smoked. The sampler was great as well. The country ham was a standout. Followed up by the sausage.

Well worth the drive to this classic country diner. Delicious buttery soft biscuits with butter and jam start you off and complimentary. I had the half fried chicken entree — tender and juicy with a light crispy batter. Served up with fried green tomatoes and hash brown casserole. So much food!! Took home leftovers for two more meals! Hubby had a breakfast plate smoked bacon and French toast. Our server was great — helpful and cheerful. Atmosphere was fun and interesting. Love the history of the place along with the gift store as well. Be prepared for a wait. We went mid-week on a Wednesday at 1:30 and still waited 45 minutes. Just go the gift shop and the time passes quickly.

If you’re in Nashville, you have to stop here. Southern cuisine at its best! Besides, Anthony Bourdain is yet to steer me wrong. The FREE biscuits were amazing - light, fluffy and hot. We got everything from the meatloaf sandwich to the catfish to chicken fingers. Everything was delicious! And the service was top notch. Our server, Owen, was friendly and courteous. No wonder this place has been around so long.

I was so excited to try the Loveless Cafe, and it lived up to the hype. The biscuits and jellies were fresh and yummy. I had the hot chicken tenders, and they were great. They are perfectly spicy without being too much. I could still taste the flavors of the seasonings. The fried green tomatoes were good but not the best ever. I also tried the caramel sweet potatoes, which were very good. They weren't super sweet but tasted very fresh. The sweet tea was delicious. I'd definitely recommend eating here!
