Horrible. Would not even look at the couch in the room. Scene from a murder mystery show. Brawl in the parking lot on 1st night (Hotwire hot deal). Customer service online was NA. No staff at hotel desk. Continental breakfast was lil deb snack cakes. Hotel room door had obviously been kicked in several times. Hotel guests screaming in parking lot till 3am or after. Enjoyed hearing about an E.D problem and that his Bit@$& ass woman needed to shut the $&@) up. Every piece of furniture in the room had been broken. TV connection shut off and on. The bed was comfortable and a king. ADA compliance NA as basically had to turn sideways to walk in front of it. Hard wood Floors were filthy and turned my socks black.

Cold shower water. Spilled water all over the bed, asked for new sheets. Only got the bed sheets and no blanket. Lady was on the phone and really disregarding when I asked for blankets and sheets. Guy said price was "around 80 plus tax" and then charged me 100. Asked for a receipt to see the charges. If he doesn't tell me the price when I get the room that's unprofessional. Everything else is pretty much what you would expect. Pretty decent besides all that.

Our stay here was... interesting to say the least. We pull up and have an easy time checking in, which is always nice. We walk up to our door, noting the "no smoking " sign as we open the door. Immediately, we are hit with a wall of stale smoke smell as we enter the room (I would like to add that my roommate and I both had to wash all our clothes after the trip, even the ones that stayed in our luggage the whole time, because the smoke smell permeated it all so much). Looking around the room, we notice that mostly all the furniture is on the brink of collapse, the couch has a plethora of questionable fluid stains, and the fan in the bathroom is dangling from the ceiling. Heading to bed, we turn off the lights to find that the lights do not actually turn off all the way; the switch will turn them off, but they continued to have a low glow (pictured) the entire night. That was in addition to being able to tell that the door had clearly been kicked in a time or two before, seeing that a beam of light, as well as all the street noise and yelling, from outside readily fluttered into our room from the door (which was present for all 3 nights we were there). Now, I do have 3 positives: 1) The housekeeping did a wonderful job at providing fresh towels and fresh toiletries each day. 2) The bed was surprisingly comfortable. 3) Crazy experiences like these are always more memorable than the good, as-expected ones, so I mustn't fail to mention the laughter that all this provided for the trip. Overall, I would definitively not recommend staying here, regardless of any possible savings or perceived convenience. But hey, sometimes, you just have to laugh and let the experience be a warning for others. :)

I wouldn't even give them a star! The whole experience was completely horrible. The tables in the room look like they was pulled out of the dumpster the bedspread had cigarette burns on them. The carpet was so nasty that I had to wear shoes the whole time I was in the room. I went to wash my face and the faucet literally fell off in my hand. My car was hit in the parking lot. The only good thing I do have to say is they did refund my money. So if I was you I would travel further on and stay somewhere else I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! Ok

I have no idea why they give America's Inn a low rating this is a great Inn for me. I am a budget traveler and most of the cities I go to, this is how I prefer to stay while visiting. I love staying just out of the city downtown but close enough to everything that is not an inconvenience to me to get to, and why shoild I pay $300 $200 a night just to be able to step out my door and walk to the places I want to go when I can stay for $40 $50 or $100 a night and just drive to the hot spots and walk the same path saving a great deal of money and even making it where I can extend my vacation time while I'm there, leaving me more money to do other things with. This place is great for me, it is very affordable, a great value, friendly staff, free WiFi, free parking. I mean it doesn't get any better than this for a budget traveler like me. I don't even care for the free meal that some hotels give you to lure you, because I'm a foodie and I like to go out to eat when I'm visiting a town on vacation. The only time I can justify the pricy rooms are a pricey hotel resort is when you're at a resort and you're not planning to stay in that room. When you're at a resort and you're planning to stay in that room and you're not going to really be out and about mingling with the town locals and getting to know the people then get it, spending 12-16 hours in your room or resort it is justified. I try to get an opportunity to meet the people the locals that live in the community. I could really get a feel for how things are and in doing that I'm not in my room that long I am out and probably drunk and come back to my hotel room just to sleep. This place is clean, it has all the basic amenities free WiFi, free cable TV, free parking and a very affordable price and it seems like the hotel manager and the workers they have a great personality, great friendliness and I'm going to contribute this to the whole city of Nashville at this point because everyone has been nice to me since I've been here. I have to recommend this place if you're coming to Nashville, TN and you want somewhere just to lay your head and you're going to be out mainly getting involved with activities and the locals getting to know the food visit the museums and there is no need to spend extra money 3 or 4 times more money to stay downtown when you can stay out here at Americas Inn I have to give it four stars.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy! These pictures they have posted are NOTHING at all like what is actually inside. Our room had no shower curtain, the running water was a dribble! That was all ok to deal with, but what was outside was the scariest, there were so many drug deals going on in the parking lot, it was just UNSAFE to stay at. We couldn't even walk up to our room without a crowd of crackheads sitting in the way on the stairs. We were in a non smoking room but the bed sheets were covered in cigarette burns. Worst place I've ever stayed in my life. If you're visiting Nashville DONT stay here.

I booked my room through Kayak knowing this place was going to be a no-frills place but at the very least clean and operational. I booked a non-smoking room. Then why did my room smell have that sickeningly sweet smell of tobacco along with ash trays? The shower head fell off when my friend tried to adjust the shower head. There was a shoe print on the door. There were cigarette burns on my sheets. There weren't any other rooms available, so I just dealt with it. I slept with a hoodie with the hood on so I wouldn't have to smell the room as I slept. When I was back in Knoxville, the smell permeated through my clothes. Just don't.

Not the best value when they overcharge you by 50%. I reserved a room for 2 nights and was charged the appropriate amount on the credit card that I used at the time. I was also charged an extra night for some reason. I checked in at an appropriate time and checked out the morning that I was supposed to hours before I needed to. I was told that it should be credited back to my account in a week. Now it is about 10 days and 3 or 4 calls later & I still don't have a refund of the extra charge. In addition, I'd also like to talk about the breakfast. To drink they offer coffee and Hi-C. That's right, not cheap OJ, HI-C. They did have some good yogurt and granola bars, but beyond that they had packaged cinnamon buns, packaged muffins, etc. that were pretty low quality. Nothing was hot. Packaged oatmeal would have been an upgrade from what they had.

STAY AWAY! I booked through Expedia. The place is not in downtown but it is close. It was dirty. The comforter had cigarette burns and the carpet was soiled and with debris. We asked for another room. They gave us another with a sofa bed. When we proceeded to open it there were dead roaches all over the sofa and the mattress was completely torn and soiled. No bed sheets. It was bad we decided to leave.

Rooms have been recently remodeled and are quite nice for being a low budget inn. Had newly tiled floors throughout the room, everything was clean and the housekeepers did a very good job keeping it that way. The only complaint we had was when we came back from dinner our last night there we noticed the ceiling in the bathroom had a small crack and was dripping a pretty good amount of water onto the floor. We called the front desk to let them know and they just said to put some towels on the floor. While the staff was very friendly they were short staffed in the evenings. Parking was tight like most places in Nashville. Even though it was located next to a highway it was surprisingly quiet and we felt safe. Overall, great place for the price.
