My guess is that Angela Young Proffitt is the next premiere wedding planner in Nashville. There are a few that you hear about, with fancy dress boutiques, and client lists that could double as the young couples directory for all of Belle Meade. But those ladies better look out because Elegant Weddings by Angela is on the scene! My wedding is in October which is when I firmly believe I'll be able to add a fifth star to my review. Until then, here's why Angela gets 4: One star for her organizational skills. I've got lists and spreadsheets a'plenty to keep me on track and stress free (well, as much as possible). We won't miss a thing with Angela at the helm. A second star for her work ethic. I'm a career woman and I travel lots. It's not uncommon for me to talk with Angela at 9pm on a Tuesday or receive a diluge of email responses from her at 1am. I never worry that she'll get back to me with answers to my questions. And since phone calls are available with unlimited frequency under the package I purchased, she's always accessible and prompt with response. A third star is for her connections. This woman knows loads of really fabulous folks. And she knows them well. When I described my vision for my wedding, I'm pretty sure she already knew which vendors I would pick, even though she gave me several to consider. That's talent! Plus, everyone I've met with speaks so highly of her and says that they enjoy working with her brides since everything always goes so smoothly. That's great reassurance. A fourth star is for her attitude. We've had only one mishap with vendors for our wedding so far, and she was so lovely to manage my disappointment and come up with several other options that made my fiance and I feel really great about the replacement. She's great with family members and fiances and just super fun to be around. Based on all of this, you might surmise that she's already the premiere wedding planner in Nashville. I'd say that assumption is not far from the truth at all. I can only imagine what great things the next few years have in store for Angela.

I used Angela for my wedding at Belle Meade Plantation and I could not have been happier. She is the real deal. HIGHLY organized and on the ball. Professional of the highest order and sweet above all else. I live in Pennsylvania and didn't know a thing about planning a wedding. She directed me every step of the way and worked with our budget. Met her on my wedding day and it was like meeting an old friend. Every single service I had, photographer (Matt Andrews) Catering, venue, decorations, music....all of it was perfection. My wedding was small but she treated it the same as she would a larger production. If you need a wedding planner and don't want to be let down on your big day, you cannot go wrong with Angela. She is amazing.
