Vi hade något av ett affärsmöte i Nashville och denna plats rekommenderades till oss som en medarbetare kände ägaren. Den var så ny att den fortfarande hade den där "nya restauranglukten". 
Det var några andra fester och vi kom dit senare än "lunchrusningen" så matsalen var inte exceptionellt upptagen och vi satt direkt. Bartendern/servitrisen var helt bedårande och hade ett stort sinne för humor. Hon visste också menyn ganska väl (en uppgift med platsen är så ny) och gick ut ur sitt sätt att göra oss välkomna. 
Maten var mycket bra. Vi delade aptitretare av stekta gröna tomater och fläskmage och njöt grundligt av båda. Två hade "tuppen" (kycklingsmörgås med Nashville varm krydda) och förklarade det mycket bra. En annan njöt av "vråken breath chili" och tyckte att den var god bara lite kryddig för hans smak (han erkände också att han var något av "en mes") . Jag slets mellan "tuppen" och den stekta malen. På servitrisens förslag gick med malen och njöt av det. Den var perfekt kryddad med en utmärkt kräft etouffee sås och några härliga kräfthush valpar. Den enda förbättringen jag skulle föreslå är en sida av någon form av slaw att skära kryddorna och lägga till något "grönt". 
Med alla utmärkta matval i Nashville vet jag inte om jag skulle gå ut ur mitt sätt att återvända men om i området och letar efter lunch skulle definitivt besöka igen.

Vi åkte till Back 40 två gånger. Vi hade en bra måltid den första natten med Catfish och Lima bönor och Bacon. Bra meny med alternativ för alla. Andra gången vi gick hade vi aptitretare. Ett måste är deras Apple Cobbler och deras Beef Brisket Egg Rolls. 
Bra service, inga långa väntetider för mat. Alla är mycket välkomna.
