Broadway cafe qualifies as a hidden gem for the following reasons: It's literally hidden inside the federal courthouse, the staff are super friendly,the food is good, the price is affordable, & the portions are substantial. I came here with my wife mid week at lunch to visit with the owner's brother who is a friend & who had told me to come try it out. He told me prior to covid there had been a few places in the courthouse cafeteria but they had all closed during the pandemic. His brother's Greek restaurant held strong & is now the only dining option present. They serve breakfast early & lunch at the normal hours mimicking the operational times of the courthouse functions. I had the beef fajita platter & it was a ton of food. It reminded me of when I was little & would go to Pyramids green in the Rivergate mall food court with my mom, but this was better! The crispy French fries with hummus slapped too, just a killer combination. If you're at the Frist museum, the courthouse, or looking for a quick & affordable bite in the area this should be on your radar. You have to come through security since it's a courthouse but it takes 30 seconds & is worth it. The owner is a member of our vibrant Nashville Kurdish community & I know would appreciate the business!

Nashville I found a place you need to try. It's a hidden Gem! This Cafe is located inside the Estes Kefauver Federal Building. Great food and the price is the lowest I have found in Nashville. An example is I ordered a gyro salad and a bottle of water and it came to $12! I also ordered a grilled chicken salad $9.00! The Gyro salad was so good the meat was tender and the salad with Tzatziki sauce was perfect good flavor. The pita bread was toasted perfect. The chicken in the salad was perfectly cooked and so much chicken given that I couldn't eat it all. This place makes breakfast but I haven't tried it but I did take a picture of their white board. The cooks and place were clean, and they are so nice and polite. Plenty of seating for large gatherings. Bring all your friends, family, and office mates.
