If you are a Dukes of Hazzard fan, or even just a fan of middle-aged childhood nostalgia, this is the place for you. It is packed with memorabilia from the show. The staff are really friendly and seem to enjoy being there. Of course, there are also lots of souvenirs to purchase. It's a free, fun 15-30 minute adventure.

We stopped in on accident while going to another store right next door. This place was awesome! They have the General Lee out front and for $10 you can sit in it and take a photo.

Place is a throw back and ANY Dukes fan must go. Doesn't take long to walk through. Basically free and have some awesome gifts.

Lots to see from old tv show!!!! We spent at least 1.5-2hrs in there!!! Lots of pictures and interactive things plus vehicles from Daisy's jeep and the TV shows original car!

Very cool spot to see tons of originals, replicas, and old merch from Dukes of Hazzard. Free to check out and the merch is reasonable priced. Also right next to Willie Nelson museum and Nashville Palace which are great to all go to as well.

Very cool place, brings back lots of memories..you can see daisy's original white jeep here with some of the stunt cars. All kinds of memorabilia, FREE of charge. Highly recommended The only thing that cost anything is taking pictures inside of the vehicles which $10 per vehicle. Very cool place to visit. What an impressive and welcoming trip down memory lane!! I was born in the 70s and saw so many of my and my brother's toys and clothing items on display at this place. I was especially delighted to see the original Daisy Duke Underoos!! The same set I had when I was about preschool aged. It was so fun! They have a lot of wonderful items to buy too. General Lee is in front for your free photo ops.

Cooter's Place is located in the same area as The Inn at Opryland, but across the street in another plaza with plenty of free parking. This place is also right next door to Willie Nelson and Friends General Store and Museum. Cooter's Place is a museum (that is free) that is all things Dukes of Hazzard TV show. This museum and also retail store is owned by Ben Jones and his wife. Ben Jones played Cooter, the mechanic in the show, who was also good friends with the Duke boys since he was always fixing up the famous General Lee car that they would always get damage in nearly each episode because of the boys shenanigan. This museum has many pictures and posters from the show, numerous of props, clothing/ costumes and additional memorability from this TV show. Also you will find Cooter's Tow Truck (which is outside), Daisy's Jeep, Rosco's Patrol Car with Flash (Rosco's companion, a Basset Hound) and a General Lee car (1969 Dodge Charger). During the filming of the show, more than 300 + General Lee cars were used and most of them destroyed with all the stunts that General Lee went through. My husband and I came by here on a Tuesday around 12 pm. I was surprised that this museum was bigger than I expected it to be. In one part of the store are many die cast cards available for purchase. Not just cars from Dukes of Hazzard but from other TV shows as well and just other tory cars too. My husband ended up purchasing the A Team van (cost $10.99 prior to tax). This was a nice museum to visit, even though I didn't really watch the show. But I thought it was neat to see props and learn about some of the behind the scene things about the actors, props and the fanhood of this show. A nice visit if you are in this part of Nashville.

What an absolutely cool place. We spent over an hour looking at the TONS of iconic merchandise and collectibles from the Duke's of Hazzard show. You can climb into the General Lee and Dixie at take pictures. Spend a few bucks to take pics and keep this place open. Most of my friends growing up wanted to drive the General Lee, so being in it was pretty damn cool.
