Finally checked out Curry Boys BBQ in East Nashville, and I'm so glad I did. It's tucked inside this adorable pink house with a fun, vibrant vibe and a big patio. The menu mixes Thai flavors with Texas-style BBQ, and it somehow works. We started with the smoked edamame. For mains, the Brisket Smoke Show was a standout and the Good Luck Cluck had super flavorful smoked chicken with creamy yellow curry. Drinks are solid too. They had some creative cocktails and even Thai staples like Singha beer. And the ube cheesecake? Don't skip it. Between the food, the fun atmosphere, and the friendly service, this spot is a total win. Definitely adding Curry Boys BBQ to my East Nashville favorites list.

I dined at Curry Boys BBQ on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at 1 pm. Curry Boys accomplishes a perfect marriage between Southeast Asian-style curries with Southern BBQ. I ordered the missing link, which comes with a pork sausage and a creamy Penang curry. The smokiness of the sausage paired well with the creaminess of the curry. The curry itself had a decent amount of spices. The restaurant looked like a restaurant took over someone's house. It had a nice homey feel to it. There is limited parking that may pose some inconvenience if folks do decide to dine here on a busier time. Staff was friendly and very nice.

Are you kidding me? This might be my favorite meal I've eaten in Nashville. What a fun place, I love the Thai BBQ fusion concept. The interior (including the bathrooms) is very tacky (in a good way!!) cowboy theme, and the back patio feels like you're in Southeast Asia. Service was quick and friendly, bathrooms are clean. Very good vibes. I had the panang curry with pulled pork, it was incredible. Highly recommend, I wouldn't change a thing. My only small complaint is the charge for chili oil and other toppings is steep. I'll just go without next time. Oh! And they have parking!

Wow! What an excellent combo Thai and BBQ are. I ordered the Tony Porker and despite being more spicy than my mild palate can handle, it was delicious. Flavorful, fresh, fun! I loved the potato salad because it was a little bland -- the heat of the curry had my tongue hurting and it was a nice reprieve! Ube cheesecake was a dream come true and you should absolutely not skip dessert here! While the wait was longer than expected for our food, I would do it again for the tender meat and the rich curry at Curry Boys BBQ. Definitely bringing all my visitors here from out of town -- a great example of the amazing Nashville food scene.

Highly popular for their trendy diggs & innovative fusion menu combining Thai & bbq I had been wanting to make it out to Curry Boys ever since they opened & just forgot about it for so long. BUT NO LONGER DO I LUST FOR THE UNKNOWN. I walked in with no plan for ordering just asked the fella behind the counter pick 2 of your favorite items for me & I'll choose one of them. He didn't hesitate & offered the brisket smoke show & the Tony porker. They were perfect choices too because I love curry. I went with the Tony porker because for lunch I didn't want to pay market price for brisket. My wife & I also shared an order of the queso. The queso was fine, nothing special to write home about but always a welcomed addition. The Tony porker was fantastic. It had a little heat, some sweetness from the pickles, salt from the meat & chili crunch & the richness of the curry all balanced by the rice under it all. Really a complete dish if there ever was one. I am currently looking for opportunities to go back & try the smoke show & grab one of their dope t shirts.

I came to Nashville for one day and chose to Uber Eats my dinner. Quick service on a Thursday. I ordered a side of queso, creamed corn, and their Brisket Curry. Individually the curry and the beef were average. Together, however, the combination of smoked meat and a semi-sweet green curry was innovative and delicious. Corn was different but still better than average: the vibe they're going for is hip fusion, and I suppose they achieve that. 4 stars for the sum of the parts being greater than the whole.

This was the second time we went to Curry Boys and it didn't disappoint. The staff were friendly and service was quick, even on Halloween. The vibe is casual but the food is insanely good. I would crawl across a desert for this bowl of smoked pork belly and curry.

A random Thursday afternoon and my wife Sam and I decided we wanted an early dinner/lunch... Dunch? Linner? Either way, after working all morning at a coffee shop and running solely on caffeine, we finally gave this place a shot. Holy crap... glad we did. Texas BBQ meets Thai... YES PLEASE. Walking up, it felt like someone's Aunt Marlene (who desperately wants to sell you some Mary Kay) went to town on the decorating... Inside, it smelled like Texas pit smoke had taken a vacation in Bangkok. I ordered the Missing Link and Sam went with the Brisket Smoke Show. Both were phenomenal. Sam's brisket was smoky perfection, tender and rich, while my Missing Link had that kind of spice that sneaks up on you, shakes your hand politely, then moves in permanently. For drinks, Sam had the Thai lemonade - sweet at first, then a spicy kick at the end like it was winking at you. I went with the lemongrass margarita, bright and herbal, the kind of cocktail that makes you forget you ever liked plain old lime. By the end we were both grinning like fools. Curry Boys BBQ isn't just a fun gimmick. It's James Beard-winning chefs flexing in East Nashville. Nashville, we're lucky they picked us. 10/10 would eat again.

Curry Boys has an intriguing menu where they are combining classic barbecue with anything and everything curry-related. It's definitely a food mash-up that I've never seen before so I was very intrigued to go after hearing about it. You order at the counter and they'll bring the food out to your table. Inside is laid-back and quite literally feels like you are walking into someone's home. The Curry Queso Chips were a solid starter. The queso had a good consistency and the curry flavor was more mild/subtle than I anticipated. The same can be said for the green curry potato salad. I like the combination of flavors, but I wish the 'curry' flavor was more pronounced. The Thai Green Salad was very flavorful and refreshing. The Tony Porker is their penang curry with pulled pork as their bbq meat topping. Our friend also got the Brisket Smoke Show. But between the two (both meats were great), I felt that the Tony Porker was better mainly because the shredded pulled pork works better in a curry. It really does soak up all the curry great and is a nice meat vessel for all the flavors. I loved the penang curry in it too. If you're looking for something a bit different while in Nashville, I would heavily encourage giving Curry Boys BBQ a try!
