If you want some authentic Neapolitan pizza in and close to Nashville, then this is the place to go. The Bellvue location is about 12 minutes out of Nashville right off of I -40 west. I chose to go here instead of Downtown because we were already in Bellvue and they have free parking and it's out of the city. They have 3 wood burning ovens and have 9", 12" and 16 inch size pizzas. They offer Calzones, Salads, Sides, Dessert and 2 Stuffed Crust Pizzzas. You order at the register and they give you a number then bring the food to your table when it's ready. Our food came out quickly hot and fresh. They have a bar area which I was told opens at 4:00 p.m. but you can still get a bottled beer at lunch. They also have a station by the water station that has Freshly Minced Garlic, Crushed Red Peppers, Fresh Shredded Cheese, Salt, Pepper and 3 different bottles of Olive Oil. They do have a small area outside to sit and eat. Enjoy !!

I personally love Napoletana style pizza and am so happy to have this spot in our neck of the woods. The ingredients are high-quality and it's prepared fresh and quickly right in front of you. I do think sometimes the pizza dough is inconsistent and not baked long enough in the oven. They have a nice bar with plenty of wine and beer options and most importantly they have a great outside area where you can enjoy a slice and a glass of wine while watching your kids play (after they eat their meal of course)! They have some pretty epic salads, their calzones are stuffed fuller than you can imagine (tip: ask for well done or all the cheese inside may not melt) and I think the meatballs are pretty decent as well! They do offer happy hour prices on a few things on the drink menu in the evenings, which is nice, I think they would benefit more from extending their options on happy hour because it's definitely a popular spot for parents after school.

I saw this place on youtube so I bookmarked it awhile ago. My friend got the lasagna and I got the ORIGINAL CARNEVALE. The crust was so good. You definitely will need a knife and fork because the crust is very very thin, you cant pick it up. But the pizza was amazing. Very pricey was a downside.

This is a favorite! We used to live close by but now we drive 35 mins just to get here. They also have flavored pellgrino, wine, beer and cocktails. Pizza isAbsolutely Delicious! DeSano's Pizza is amazing! The crust is perfectly thin and crisp with that authentic wood-fired flavor, and the ingredients taste super fresh. We tried the Margherita, Americano, Diavola & Bianca and I have them add prosciutto. You can taste the quality in every bite. The vibe is casual and friendly, and the open kitchen is a fun touch. Definitely one of the best pizzas around and I can't wait to go back!

I've been here a few times. I like this location in lieu of the other locations. Ample parking, and walkable shopping are my motivators. I really really love the pizza here. In my opinion you won't get better wood fired pizza anywhere else (that I've tried). There is a downside. One time I came here and they misplaced my order. After waiting for some time, I approached a staff member and they quickly started making the order. There seems to be a long wait time here and I only have come here when it's not as busy like a weeknight or a Sunday night. I always get the same thing: Margherita. It's so so good. They have self serve garlic and cheese you can get on your own. If you want plates you also get those on your own. They serve the pizza on a large baking sheet. The quality and freshness of the pizza is very good.

DeSanos has real quality ingredients. From the sauce to the meat and the dough. Cooked in a real stone oven. I believe it's the best pizza in Nashville.

Excellent dinner and friendly staff. Stopped in for some wood fired pizza and it was a stellar experience. Italian chopped salad is definitely one to be shared - great balsamic dressing with tons of goodies. Pizza was perfectly cooked and toppings were fresh and delicious. Check it out!
