Seriously not only the best Chinese food in Nashville, but the best I've had. Delicious dark colored pork broth in the wonton soup. When you ask for a dish spicy, it's actually spicy. A simple take out with much more good stuff going on than it looks like. 10 out of 10!

Best Chinese FOOD in town, period!!! If you don't need to be held by the hand, talked to nicely over the phone, or can just get out of your own pretentious way by a husband, wife, son family of three running a business for 25 years... You might mess around and discover a great thing! I was Born & Raised in Nashville, although I haven't lived here for 15 years I come back to my home town from Portland Oregon about three times a year, and the first thing I do off the plane before heading to my parents house is pick up some Shrimp Egg FooYong (Best I've ever had in the US, and I try it at the "best" places all over the country!) and their Happy Family dish with some Hot and Sour Soup (top 5) and some Egg fried rice! Do yourself a favor and take some of this wonderful FOOD home with you, and don't worry so much about the mother who doesn't understand your English that well... Trust me, that's a GOOD THING!

Order to go to our hotel. Was very disappointed with the shrimp and short rib. Everything was dry and too Americanize. I grew up from an Asian family so I've had good Chinese food back home. This stuff wouldn't come close to being better then the worse Chinese buffet stuff from Oregon. They also forgot my sweet tea that I paid for. One of the worse Chinese we had and will not be purchasing from again ever.

This has been my only, most favorite and best Chinese restaurant for well more than a decade. I am grateful to them and recommend that you enjoy their great delicacy's frequently.

The food is made within minutes and ready for pickup. The shop is owned by a husband and wife, and they cook everything on their own. All of the portions are large and good. The food is incredibly well priced. I would recommend as a great neighborhood Chinese eatery for pick up and delivery.

The lady that takes the order tries to y'all do fast and didn't understand the order. I ALWAYS order orange chicken with low mein. I don't care what Chinese place I'm ordering from, I get the same thing. I call back after receivable the incorrect order and the order taker is rude with me. How can I get my order incorrect when I say the same thing every time I order??? Rudeness with me is not a good thing, as I too work with others and when you're wrong, own up to it. You are wrong Dragon Garden. And getting 2 orders of low mein with rice is such a horrible lunch. You'll never have to worry about me repeating the chance of you fumbling up my lunch order.

We have eaten here every few weeks for the past year. It is very consistent and we love the food. We are picky on egg rolls and these are excellent.

Not impressed with general cleanliness. When at lunch time and very poor selection of food and so little of this food had to keep waiting for a small replenishment. Manager didn't want to hear about it and was rude and not understanding. Would not recommend.

When I first moved to Davidson Co., my roommate suggested we order from this little place tucked away in a corner in a strip mall on West End. We ordered from there many times. Invariably, whenever we ordered, they would ask, always very loudly, "Do you know where we are?" and we would say yes, that we had been there many times. Invariably, they would always tell us, "We are in the corner." Things got more complicated when they moved to Charlotte Pike. They still always asked if we knew where they were, and we still told them yes, but they still told us "We moved. We're on Charlotte." This place could move across town and I would find them whichever corner or pike they were on. Moving from Cool Springs, where we had the much mourned Peking Palace, I was eager to find a Chinese restaurant to compare, and Dragon Garden is really the cream of the crop of take-out Chinese places. Their dishes are especially good if you ask for them extra spicy. It's never really spicy, but it just makes their food taste better. Ask for the vegetable spring rolls, because they are so much better than the pork ones. Dragon Garden also delivers, but it does take them a while, so I usually just pick up and if you do, your food is ready very quickly. They have been a standby for my entire residence in Sylvan Park.
