Live music every evening! We got to see Run of the Mill and Liam Slater. I have lived in the Bay Area for 44 years, grew up in the 90s with grunge and hip hop. I've never been interested in Country music, I came for family. I am leaving with a whole new appreciation for live music, in part because of my stay here. Both performances were great, I felt like I was on MTV unplugged in an intimate setting (aging myself). After a long, hot day of sightseeing, I got to end the day with a free concert. Hotel happy hour and breakfast were enough to cover actual meals which is great when you are trying to budget so you can spend your money in the community. Three cocktails and full meals! YES Rooms were great, we were surprised with an upgrade to a suite on the 16th floor. Amazing service, all of the staff were pleasant and accommodating. If I ever come back to Nashville, I will stay here. When I travel in the future, I will look for Drury hotels.

My wife and son stayed there 2 years ago and talked how great the hotel was. I stayed with my wife and it was a big letdown. They cheapened the breakfast and the nightly snacks/bar drinks. We stayed 3 nights and given the cost was 293+ tax the first night 393+ tax and 493+ tax for the Friday night, they are really taken advantage of people coming to Nashville. I am a Platinum Marriott Member and Gold Hilton Member and usually stay there. The first room we were given was on the lowest floor overlooking their rooftop with air conditioners. I was able to change it for a 19th floor room with a city view. Back to breakfast....All 3 days was scrambled eggs, sausage patties, square potatoes, biscuits and gravy. They had a large grill but were not doing omelets. They did them in the past. You could make a waffle using the same units at all hotels like Hampton and Holiday Inn Express. Higher end hotels will make them for you. They had apples, bananas and oranges. The bowl of fruit (matched the hampton's) but there's was wilted and soggy (cantaloupe, honeydew, pineapple and grapes). Last day they had non. Milk was out of a machine and yogurt was 1 flavor along with hardboiled eggs. They did have pancakes off to the side by the grill and cheese you could add to your eggs. The "fantastic" sitback and enjoy spread was a joke. 1 night pseudo chicken alfredo. Another night horrible pork bbq and tacos the last. All nights had baked potatoes and chips with salsa. My wife was shocked at how downhill it went. You were given 3 bar tickets per person. They now limited you to 5 specialty drinks (1 being Margarita, 1 cherry flavoring with vodka and sprite with sour mix ) or regular water downed drinks The only positive was you could get fountain pop all day. From 4 to 8pm they popped popcorn in the lobby. I had to remind them 1 day. The fitness center was nice but the pool didn't open until 9AM. I wanted to do at 830 before heading out. I am on eastern time while they are on central time. There is no restaurants in the hotel. I don't count the bar with limited options for food. See my pictures for the menu. The rooms are very basic. They were clean. I had to chase the cleaning staff each day for more towels and even toilet paper! The hotel has no concierge. Parking is $42 a night for self-park. The location is very convenient but so are several other hotels.

This place was incredible! We will definitely stay here again! The location is great and so close to everything! Our flight brought us in early and they allowed us to leave our luggage and even eat breakfast! We walked around town and came back to check in. The room was so clean and very nice! The pool was great! The happy hour is an extra added bonus!!! The bartender at the bar was so nice! All of the workers went above and beyond for everyone!

We have frequently stayed at the Drury chain hotels over the past couple of years since discovering them. This location I think has been the nicest we have been to, as in more modern. Other locations are nice and we enjoy the historical themed locations, but this one felt more luxurious. Rashad checked me in and it was late, like kickback hour was going to end within 30 minutes so I had to rush. Rashad was helpful and made the process go as quickly as possible so I could make it. The hotel is so huge that parking is in a separate garage, the kickback hour and breakfast is on a different floor than the lobby, and the lobby is huge compared to other locations. Where the kickback hour and breakfast is held, is very spacious with lots of seating. They also have one of the Drury restaurant/bar entity here, which is not at all locations. The kickback hour is such an amazing idea/concept. It is just as fulfilling as the breakfast buffet! Plus, you get 3 alcoholic drinks to enjoy that are included. There is usually beer, wine, scotch, gin, rum, vodka, and I believe tequila. There is also a soda fountain machine for anyone who does not drink. The menu changes daily for the kickback hour but they only work off of 3 different menus they rotate. Every night, there is a form of potato side and vegetables. As well as nachos and cheese, hot dogs with buns, and some sort of main dish. The location was great for us as well. It did not take long to walk to the attractions we wanted to visit, like the Johnny Cash Museum. Most attractions took us less than 10 minutes to walk to.

I would recommend this hotel over and over again. The check in process was seamless. The parking structure has cameras everywhere and a large amount of parking for guests. The hotel has a nice workout room. We didn't use the pool amenities. Our room was extremely clean and had an amazing view on the 20th floor. They give u 3 free drinks a night and have FREE BREAKFAST AND DINNER. The view from the 8th floor is nice too and has lots of nice seating places for everyone to sit. We enjoyed our stay and if we ever come back to Nashville will be staying here!

This was our first time staying at a Drury and all I can say is you can't beat the bang for your buck! Price-wise for our dates (around Veteran's Day), it was similar in price to other nearby hotels of similar caliber, but seemed to offer way more for the money. We also picked this hotel for location. It's within easy walking distance of House of Cards, our main reason for going to Nashville. As a matter of fact, we found all of downtown to be very walkable from there. And it was less than a twenty minute ride from the airport. Loved that you had to use your room key to even get in the hotel, in addition to needing it to go up the elevator. Loved that everyone we encountered was super friendly. Loved the FREE buffet breakfast and dinner. Even though we only tried each one time, what an awesome option to have. Oh and FREE three drinks each evening also. Was it top notch food and drinks? No. But decent. And you can't beat FREE. Tip: look at their website for "sample" dinner menus. What was offered for us the night we went was exactly what the "sample" was. Highly recommend bringing cash to tip some of the hard-working staff who provide service during these free meals. Had one Gal almost cry when I handed her a tip and thanked her. All of the extras were so nice (did I mention water & coffee in the lobby and afternoon popcorn also?) I almost forgot to mention that our room was clean and comfortable and quiet, even though construction was going on next door.

From the moment we walked in it was a fantastic adventure, although the ladies loved the atmosphere in the warm welcoming by the staff! It was so cold that they gave us fresh hot coffee and directed us to hot cups of tea. Also on floor number eight. The room was beautiful and clean. All the employees were wonderful so so sweet and accommodating.. every employee on floor number 8 from the bartender , to the servers, everyone made an incredible impression on us. It was so amazing. I will highly recommend this hotel chain to everyone.!

We loved our stay here. I am a Drury Rewards member. I like the brand, and this is the best Drury I have stayed at. The hotel is relatively new. We found the rooms to be clean, and our room, being a suite, was spacious. The amenities are above par. The breakfast was very good. The kickback happy hour was consistent with other Drury properties; except, we were allowed three free drinks rather than just two. Nice. Popcorn in the lobby, everything else is on the 8th floor with controlled access. All employees that we encountered were pleasant, and the location: PERFECT! There was a lot of noise from the NON-river side. Apparently there is a fire/ambulance house nearby that stays busy, to the tune of half a dozen rides per night! Upgrade to a river view if you don't want noise.

Excellent hotel in every way. Staff are courteous and friendly. Pricing is more than fair and - important to me - the elevators are key activated for every floor beyond the parking garage. As is typical with a Drury property, there's a kick-back (heavy HH - 3 drinks plus practically a meal replacement in HH food) and hot breakfast. The dining area was the nicest we've ever experienced at a Drury, located on the 8th floor with great views of Nashville. If the weather was better we could have sat outside on the balcony patio and enjoyed the view and vibes. The property has live music every night, but beyond the 8th floor you can't hear anything. Best sleep we've had in a long time in a very comfortable property. This is a must-stay when we come back to Nashville. Everything is very walkable from our location, which makes being a tourist super-easy.

This was my first time staying at a Drury Plaza. If you want the full Drury experience stay at a Plaza versus their regular hotels. What drew me to the Drury was their breakfast in the morning and evening meal they offer as part of the stay. Let me repeat that, FREE. The kicker is they even give you three free drinks EACH evening you are there. That's acoholic drinks if you were wondering. They have free soda and popcorn also in the evening. An evening meal consisted of steamed hot dogs, chicken Alfredo, penne pasta, chips and salsa, salad and steamed veggies. It's served buffet style and in the smaller Drury's you should get that when evening meal starts otherwise you will have difficulty getting seating, OR you can take your meal and drinks to your room. Accommodations are nice and have everything a typical hotel has.
