Food was good but service kind of lack. Felt like we were a hassle instead of customers. It wasn't that busy even.

We stopped at Frothy Monkey for a late breakfast and had a great experience! The hostess was super friendly and welcoming. While we waited for our table, we hopped in the to-go line for some drinks -- a Golden Monkey Latte, a Rosemary Honey Latte, and a Berry Good Thyme. All were delicious. We grabbed a gluten-free blueberry muffin from the bakery case as well - love that they had GF options! For food, we ordered the avocado toast (tasty, though I wish the mozz and tomatoes were sliced a bit thinner) and a breakfast bagel sandwich on a jalapeño cheddar bagel -- so good! We sat outdoors, and everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. Loved the vibe here, and we'll definitely be back!

45 minute wait - we never got notified of our table being ready through text so we had to go back to the front and ask for an update. The food was delicious, biscuits and gravy were great, biscuit board, quinoa bowl, and drinks. Kudos to the chef! The service was pretty bad. Our waitress lacked any enthusiasm, left our waters empty and didn't come back for over 15 minutes after dropping off the food. If the food was poor, I would've easily rated this place lower, but the FOOD was great. The poor service brought down the energy and atmosphere of the place and my partner and I wanted to leave much sooner than we could. Our waitress genuinely looked offended when I asked for our check and a box and skipped over our table multiple times when doing her rounds. (I don't even know her name, but she's young, has short blonde hair and a cross tattoo on her wrist.) This was my birthday trip and this was genuinely some of the worst service I have ever had.

This coffee shop is a staple of 12 S. Since they're so busy, you can get on the waitlist for a table, as my family did today. We arrived around 2 o'clock, and there was a 30-minute wait, so we walked around and looked at shops, then came back and sat inside. The staff was very friendly, and it seemed like we didn't just have one server, but everyone stopped to make sure we were OK throughout our visit. There are various places to sit inside or outside, covered or under trees. You may also order at the counter and take drinks to go. There is an excellent feel to the place. I approve of all the plants. There were six of us, and we all got beverages and two of their appetizer boards to share. I ordered a large hot chai tea latte with 2% milk. It was delicious and lovely on this chilly day. Someone got a Matcha iced Matcha and loved it. There was regular coffee, hot chocolate, cold brew, and a honey-something latte that my sister said was the best coffee she had had in a long time, and she drinks it every day. For a snack, we got the biscuit board with whipped feta and the veggie board also with whipped feta. The biscuits were great, and the feta and jam tasted good. The veggie board was good, and we loved the cucumbers and olives, but we were a little shocked to see the banana peppers on it and no carrots. We were not expecting there to be bread on the board. I guess we didn't read the description very well. Frothy Monkey is still my favorite coffee shop on 12 South.

Stopped in for some matcha while shopping in town. The matcha latte was unsweetened and a good matcha flavor. The staff was friendly and lots of places to sit inside or outside.

This hip brunch place was cute and has decent food! I see why there's a line of people outside waiting! But we were able to wait in the parking lot in the back (free parking) and we only waited for 30 minutes on Sunday brunch hour so that's not too bad. The food--I thought they could use a bit less salt but good flavor! I would totally come back for sure

Fun little spot. Good service. Food was fresh. Nice vibe and ambience. Came here on a Thursday afternoon and wasn't too busy. They have breakfast and typical lunch type foods. Can also get an assortment of coffee drinks, some of which are seasonal. Also have a wine and alcohol menu. Very nice variety.

Great spot to grab a drink on 12 South! I need this blackberry thyme lemonade to go on the regular menu, because it is the best drink I've ever had. As a non coffee drinker it can be hard to find options that aren't just a chai latte, but this one was creative and really hit the spot! Love how chill the baristas were while handling a midday rush as well. And there was plenty of seating around the building for folks just wanting to grab a quick drink and/or pastry without sitting for table service
