This is my new favorite place! My husband and I have been coming here a bunch recently to play games. Their selection is huge and they have tons of tables for both playing games and just relaxing with friends. The coffees and bakery options are great too!

Such a fun concept! I enjoy playing board and card games so it's nice to have a spot in the neighborhood I can go to play, meet people, and enjoy a snack, meal, or beverages. Food and game wise there really is something for everyone (even some kid games). I do wish there were a few more traditional games... and maybe some standard playing cards, but maybe I just need to try some of the newer games out there and I may find a new fave! Can't wait to go back!

My children like board games, I like coffee, so Game Point was an obvious destination the last time we were in Nashville. They have so many different board games to choose from here: everything from cooperative games for preschoolers to Quirkle and Trouble, and Stratego and Trivial Pursuit to Exploding Kittens and card games like UNO. My older kid found the board game Splendor and was super happy. So we spent a good 45 minutes playing Splendor at one of the many tables in the restaurant. When we arrived (around 11 a.m.) there were plenty of tables available, but they soon filled up by around noon. I guess I should mention, first of all, how Game Point works. You can play with their collection of games, but you need to buy a beverage or food. When you're done with a game, you place it on a special shelf so staff can clean/organize it. You can play as many games as you want. We ended up only playing with one game (Splendor), but there are dozens and dozens of games to choose from, so I'm sure we could have spent a lot more time here. Game Point has a large beverage menu with lots of coffee options, and a smaller menu of breakfast and lunch options. I got a classic grilled cheese, with the intention of sharing it with my children, but they were so wrapped up in the game that they shunned all of my efforts of sharing my food with them. Oh well. More bread and cheese for me! The grilled cheese was really good, so I didn't mind eating it all myself. I also got a Grey Skies latte, which tasted of bergamot coconut cream, and was delicious. I highly recommend this one if it's on the menu when you visit! The only bummer thing about visiting this place is the parking! There are five parking spaces directly outside of Game Point, and some spots on the street, but if you don't get one of those free parking spaces, you'll need to pay for parking in one of the adjacent lots.

I am obsessed with this place. I plan to go back many times! There are SO many games to choose from for all ages. There is also food and drinks. Definitely visit and buy some stuff to keep this great place open!

I was walking by game point with my friends and was super intrigued by their games/winter menu selection. When I walked in, the person working at the counter was incredibly rude. When I said hello, they didn't greet me but rather turned the ipad around aggressively as if it was an inconvenience that I was ordering. I thought maybe they didn't hear me, so I said hi again, asking how they were doing, and again, not very friendly. In fact, they had their headphones in attached to their phone which I also found incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional, especially while working. I started to feel very uncomfortable and unwelcomed in that moment, but proceeded to order anyway. During payout, the card reader wasn't working, so I decided to walk out and not get the drink because of how rude and disrespectful the entire encounter was. I'm really bummed because I wanted to try this place out and have a fun game night with my friends, but it ended up being one of the least welcoming establishments I've ever been to. I've been working in hospitality/customer service for years now and this was by far my top 3 worst experiences I've encountered. I don't like writing poor reviews, but I really hope this story encourages them to do better and not treat patrons as unkindly as this barista did.

Such a vibe!!! This place had such a warm welcome just seeing all of the games along the wall! Boardgames to me will always be around, they really put the old form of communication and learning at hand. Especially if it's a brand new game to everyone at the table! I love that you can get coffee, tea, food, and beer all in one place. The pretzel bites were to die for. The chai latte was also delicious. They also have events hosted there with game clubs and even tournaments. I will definitely be coming back again and again! I also cannot wait to bring friends.

We visited this place for some game time and coffee. All of our coffee drinks were delicious. We spent a couple of hours with friends and played Splendor. We did have some pretzel with beer cheese that was tasty. Our friends had some sandwiches and salads that looked good. All in all a really fun place to relax with the family.
