Det var tio av oss här och vi hyrde ett radhus i Gulch. Vi hade bara kommit in från olika delar av landet och detta var den perfekta platsen! Dryckerna var fantastiska och servicen var mycket vänlig! Det var inte trångt (det är ganska svårt att komma till Gulch, parkera och njuta av happy hour när det slutar på 6), och servicen var utmärkt (vissa platser är stränga om att beställa en happy hour drink klockan 06:00 efter glad timmen är tekniskt över, men Gerties är INTE den baren). Vår bartender var stor - vänlig, hjälpsam, snabb. Jag är en ivrig bourbon samlare och drinkare. När jag besöker en ny stad söker jag ut de bästa bourbonbarerna jag kan hitta.

Det första jag måste säga är att valet här är fantastiskt. De har flera års utgåvor av några av de svåraste att hitta bourbons.

Men deras priser är upprörande! Även för mellannivå, lätt att hitta bourbons, är kostnaden per häll två gånger eller mer än vad du kan få en annan barer precis nerför gatan.

Ovanpå detta var tjänsten extremt dålig. Vi satt i baren och vi fick tillräckligt snabbt menyer. Men det tog över 15 minuter innan bartendern kom tillbaka för att ta vår order. Det var inte alltför trångt och det fanns flera bartenders som arbetade.
