As much as I love the Opry- I bought a ticket for Oct. 7th for Opry 100th birthday show that Sabrina carpenter was playing at for $259.92 service fee was $43.91. Sales tax for the Opry house was: $19.01. I resold my ticket for $82 because who wants to pay that much? I think their prices are definitely very much too expensive due to their taxes. So be careful what you buy, because I lost a lot of money because I wasn't able to go to the concert and couldn't get as much as I thought back.

This was my first time visiting Nashville, and I'm so glad I ended my trip with a visit to the Grand Ole Opry. I'm not usually a country music listener, so I walked in expecting a fun experience but nothing too life-changing. Instead, the show completely blew me away. The performers were incredible, the energy in the room felt electric, and the whole night was this surprising mix of heart, humor, and pure talent. The Opry has a way of pulling you in even if the genre isn't normally your thing. You can feel the history in the space, but the show itself feels alive and full of joy. It was the perfect finale to my time in Nashville, and honestly one of the highlights of my entire trip. Five stars without question.

No visit to Music City is complete without a visit to this historic place. Even though this new location is less than 50 years old, the Opry is turning 100 in November and is the longest running radio show in the world. It's a little faraway - 10 miles from downtown, but rideshares and taxis are easily available. There is a large shopping mall across the street and the Opryland resort nearby. Its always busy, so book your tickets in advance. Even though I booked month's before, I couldn't get the best seats. The seats are designed like church pews and the auditorium looks old school to resemble the Ryman. But the acoustics are excellent and there's not a bad seat in the house. The Saturday show runs from 7 pm to almost 10 pm with a 15 minute break. There were several acts including Martina McBride and Vince Gill. It was definitely something that I will cherish and remember for a very long time. Food and drinks are available inside but are pricey. The only problem that we had, was the almost hour long wait to get an Uber back.

I am fortunate to have visited Nashville during Opry 100 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Grand Ole Opry. The concert I attended was entertaining and had a long lineup of talent, including country music stars Carrie Underwood, Connie Smith, John Foster, and Mark Wills. I did not recognize some of the artists' names, but I knew their songs instantly. For example, Riders in the Sky (Toy Story songs, including Woody's Roundup) and songwriter Don Schlitz (who composed When You Say Nothing At All) were actually my favorite artists of the night. They were very funny, witty, and talented. If you can make it to Nashville this year, the Opry 100 concerts are a must.

Came here for a country music show on a Friday night with various artists. The music was great and it was an overall fun experience to see a piece of country music history!

I visited the Opry in the summer and it was definitely lively with a big crowd. The atmosphere was great, with live musicians performing in the courtyard which really set the tone for what the Grand Ole Opry is all about. Exploring the grounds is free and definitely with the stop, though you'll need to purchase tickets for concerts inside of course. An iconic must see and must visit stop when you're in Nashville, which is a true testament for country music

Not my first visit and definitely won't be my last. Always a fun filled evening of entertainment provided with a different lineup almost every night. They are really amping up their game during the 100 year celebration. Haven't found a bad seat in the entire house. The acoustics are perfect no matter where your seat is located. Recently discovered one can get discounted ticket priced on single seats closer to the show date. Perfect for someone like me that is looking for a little concert at the last minute. Friendly and engaging staff both outside and inside the venue. Make sure to visit the gift shop on your way out if you haven't already previously.

I came for a work event, so we were in a small area of the Opry. Unfortunately, we did not get to tour the Opry. However, we had a great live band, entertainment, delish food and drinks.

This experience was amazing. Ill be honest it was a buy now thought later thing. I came here specifically for shinedown. I was so geeked out when I found out i was sitting backstage and I saw Zach a couple times. I also got to sit on stage with shinedown. Which I apparently didn't read the memo on that until I was on stage. I was over the moon to witness their debut there and being able to witness them sing a brand new song. I also enjoyed all the other artists that showed up there. It was such an experience to sit through and witness. My mind cant even believe I sat right behind shinedown. I always wanted to go to the Opry. Shinedown was the reason and im glad I went and did VIP. Because even I surprised myself with this purchase.

The history is awesome and memorabilia is good! The actual building is small and tour is short. Appears to be a bit pricey at $48 each. The tour guide was new and couldn't answer most questions?? May be a better experience going to country music hall of fame downtown!
