As with so many things, places, and vents in life, our vist to HopDoddy is a bit mixed. To wit: Burger was absolutely delish! Big, juicy, filled with delightful textures, aromas, spices....a veritable umami bomb! Tender house-roasted pork belly, an omelet-style patty (probably a superfluous add-in), teriyaki heat & chile-spiked mayo. Yowzaa! Yes, please, I'll have another. Parmesan Truffle Fries wee bit of a disappointment. Big ole' bowful of very flavorful, relatively crispy fries....indeed, lots of flavor, decent crispiness....but... Why are they cut so freakin' small? A couple of shoestring-size 'taters and then (what amounted to) several hundred inch-long bites that were just too hard to grab for my aging fingers. Sorry, just not practical IMHO. Dipping sauce was delish and Chipotle Catsup .... just give me a gallon and I'll be on my way. Fountain sodas and several other drink selections round out the initial offerings. Yep...would love to come back, but I''d probably bring a fork.

nice place my burger was good my wife's buffalo burger said it was tough. I tried it not only was it tough. It had a twang to bad smell bad taste When I told the manager, he said, he just got the meat in... still change the fact it didn't taste right he didn't offer to take it off my ticket which I think he should've but I did feel like it was my duty to let him was something wrong with it

Zero notes on this higher scale, fast burger joint in Hillsborough Village. The surface was great whether there was at the register or the staff members walking around making sure everyone has what they need. You order at the counter and sit at a table where they'll bring you your food. The classic burger that I got was very good and I was happy to not have yet another typical smashburger like you find all over Nashville. The truffle Parmesan fries were delicious, but definitely sucked that you couldn't get them in a side portion and only a large portion. The outside seating area was clutch as it was a cool night.

I mean who doesn't love a burger and a sunny patio. Hopdoddy Burger Bar was a convenient spot following a Sunday afternoon walk. I ordered the magic schroom burger. Personally I felt like the temperature of the patty could've been a lot hotter. Also there was just too many liquids on the burger: a runny goat cheese + aioli + mayo+ juices from the tomato slice. There was no crunch or texture and it made it not only hard to cut and eat but also created a soggy bun. And we all know a soggy bun is an absolute no no. The service was quick and attentive. I liked how they asked if you're okay with a little pink in the burger which is their standard way of cooking the patty I'm assuming. A new and free garage parking lot opened just behind this location which is great considering the area.

We stopped here while we were in the area. Hopdoddy has a fun college pub vibe with great food. You stand in line to order your food and then they bring it to your table. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. Yum! It had just the right amount of heat spices and a great cabbage slaw on it. All the toppings provided so many wonderful flavors in every bite. We also ordered some Sweet Potato Fries and Parmesan Truffle Fries to share as a group. There were 7 of us. We had a little taste test to see which fries everyone liked best. Both were excellent! However, I think there were more that picked the sweet potato fries as their favorite. That was also the one that was finished first. Tip for parking: There is a parking garage behind the restaurant where you can park for free for an hour. That was plenty of time for us since we went during a slower time, around 3:30 pm.

I visited the Nashville Hopdoddy location and Jacob behind the register immediately put me at ease with his smile and welcoming attitude. We discussed different options and he set me up with a burger, fries, beer and directed me to a table. The beer arrived almost immediately (loved the thick frosty mug) and the fries moments later. My burger was The Classic and I added bacon, crispy onions, and upgraded the beef to grass-fed. The burger...delicious! Perfectly cooked, stacked tall, and so juicy. Love the Doddy sauce, Tillamook Cheddar Cheese is the perfect pair, the bacon is very thick but still crispy, and the veggies were fresh. Loved the fries...piping hot and no ketchup needed!!! I thought about dessert...saw a couple pass by but I was happily full and will plan accordingly for dessert next time. The food is great and everything I saw delivered to other tables looked delicious. The service excellent...everyone was friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. Came here to say for a quick lunch. First time here. The place was ok, the food was ok. Service was ok. The ambiance was normal. They had music playing on the background, patrons were enjoying themselves. The fries are definitely shareable. They are ok. They have different kinds of burgers. The thunderbird was good just got saggy at the bottom. Overall was ok and a quick lunch place.

3.5 Atmosphere is really fun. Bar like but not enough TVs. Good selection of craft beer. Fries are amazing here. Comes in a portion of 2. Truffle fries with a really good truffle sauce. Almost overtakes the burger. Burger was really good as well. Not a smash but cooked perfectly with a good bun. Double Bacon burger with bacon jelly.
